According to information in BBB files Cheap Auto Trans has a pattern of complaints alleging Refund, Exchange, and Service Issues.
Specifically, consumers state they pay a deposit up front to Cheap Auto Trans to transport their vehicles to or from certain points. Once the deposit has been made consumers then complain that Cheap Auto Trans does not correspond with them about the pickup of their vehicle and fails to answer emails or calls. Additionally, Cheap Auto Trans changes the price to a higher rate and refuses to give a refund on deposits if the consumer doesn't agree to the higher rate. Enhanced Communication Protocols
We will establish a dedicated customer service team to handle inquiries regarding vehicle transport, deposits, and pickups.
Customers will receive detailed email confirmations outlining all agreed-upon terms, including pricing, pickup schedules, and cancellation policies, ensuring clarity before any payment is made.
We will introduce a 24/7 customer support hotline to address concerns in real-time and reduce response delays.
Pricing and Payment Transparency
Our pricing structure will be revised to eliminate ambiguity. A clear, upfront quote will be provided with no hidden fees or rate changes once the deposit is paid, barring unforeseen circumstances explicitly outlined in the agreement.
Customers will have access to a price-lock guarantee policy, ensuring the agreed-upon rate remains consistent.
Refund Policy Improvement
A fair and transparent refund policy will be implemented and communicated to all customers. In cases where service cannot be provided due to delays or other issues, customers will have the option for a full refund of their deposit.
Disputes regarding refunds will be escalated to a senior representative for resolution within 5 business days.
