    - I paid ******* $650 on March 2, 2023.- I paid a deposit to ******* to hire two stylist (one in particular) to do my bridal party and my (bride) makeup. - I went through ******* for my engagement photos and got an amazing stylist that I wanted to book for my wedding day (the stylist name is ****** and I specifically wanted her). He pressured my wedding party and me to put a deposit down, threatening that he was going to schedule a different bride with my desired stylist. I put down the deposit and didnt hear from him for months. Months later, I was looking through The Knot and saw some negative reviews about ******* and that he was closing his business. I reached out to him and he said he was closing his business but decided not to and all the stylist and other brides were attacking him. I tried to continue to work with him because of the deposit but he made it impossible and he never gave me a straight answer. He couldnt assure me that he currently had staff and he couldnt reassure me that he would have someone in time for the wedding. My wedding is in December (which I know is a few months away, but I scheduled with him so I didnt have to worry about finding another makeup artist) but he didnt have any stylist for me to talk to. When I reached out to my stylist, she informed me that he let her go (he said he was closing his business and they parted in okay terms) and had not reached back out to her when he decided to keep his business open. When I decided to ask for a refund, he refused; even after I quoted how he was violating his part of the contract.- ******* is currently in *******, *******.
