    I chose to work with ***************************** Couture Bridal Design for wedding alterations. She was recommended by Anthropologie whom we have already contacted. They could not help us. At my last appointment she had me try on the dress but did not actually bustle it. I tried on the dress to complete a practice run at home before the wedding day. We ran into a major problem with the design of the bustle of the train. Unfortunately we could not bustle the train successfully. Every attempt to bustle the dress made it "hike up" in the back of the dress, exposing my ankles and feet and/or awkwardly pulling the sides of the dress. The weight of the bustle was also pulling at the lace on the back of the dress causing a gap between the dress and back.We spoke with ****** the next day explaining our problems and sent photos of the train bustle and waistline. After reviewing the photos, ****** even agreed it was not correct. She then said she needed to call us back but this did not happen. She would not return our phone calls and texts. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to reach out to a different seamstress for an emergency repair 4 days before the wedding. We had paid her via Zelle $650.00 once the dress was complete because she said her credit card machine was not working. Since I had not received a response from ****** prior to the wedding, I kindly reached out to her after the wedding to ask for a partial refund for the trouble with the alterations and poor work on her part. I did not receive any response from ******. Since the payment was made via Zelle, we are not able to dispute the charge with our bank.In December 2023 I finally got in contact with her (using my husband's phone) and she agreed to refund me $120 and send it via mail after the holidays. Since then I have contacted her twice to remind her about sending the money but she has ignored my messages and I have never received the amount she said she would send me.
