Up until recently I would have given calendly 5 stars, but they recently changed their format - you can't find anything. Their phone number has a recording that says: We do not take call just go to the website if you need anything. All of the stuff I had in there is gone. I had a client email me saying she just booked a meeting and wondered how we were going to connect. That's when I discovered they changed the format. There is a whole company who is leaving calendly for that reason aloneInitial Complaint

Bought a 1 year subscription under company email address March 2022. 6 months in, the company folded. I lost access to my email address. Apparently, even after changing my **** credit card number, Calendly has been charging an annual fee to my **** card. Shame on me for not seeing it in prior years, but this year I did and filed a dispute with my credit card. ********** made me aware that there were other charges from Calendly, but since I didnt dispute, I would need to contact them directly. After searching deeply into their website, I was able to submit an email contact. 4-5 replies later, they refuse to refund my money citing T&Cs that I couldnt receive because the email address and company went out of business. Sorry. Not sorry. It took a while to even find my account under the old company email and they assured me that my subscription was now closed - too bad they couldnt refund for prior years! Not OK. There was obviously no activity on the account and I never received a notice that it would auto-renew. This is blatant stealing from consumers. This needs to be made right. I am OK with not receiving. A prorated refund for 2022. But I did not OPT IN for 2023 and 2024 nor 2025. Not OK. ******Initial Complaint

As of March 7th 2024, Calendly added another user to my account and they have been billing me an extra $15/month , which was unauthorized by me. Today (March 19th 2025), I have spent over an hour on the Calendly chatbox (they do not have a telephone number to contact them at) trying to get the extra $180 that Calendly has been charging me for over a year refunded. They have only refunded $90 out of the $180. I need a full refund since not only was that seat added without my authorization (Calendly cannot provide proof I added this seat) and I am the only one who uses this account), but keeping $90 is abusive and unethical on their behalf.Initial Complaint

Calendly retired their paid subscription plan, "Essentials," in October 2023. However, they continued to charge me for the "Essentials" plan, including a $96 renewal in May 2024, despite its retirement and the fact that key features, such as calendar reminders, were no longer functioning. Calendly did not notify users about the retirement of this plan or the resulting feature changes, causing me to lose several valuable scheduled meetings.Calendly failed to provide clear communication about the retirement of the "Essentials" plan or offer an option to switch to a working plan. Their lack of transparency directly impacted my work and caused significant inconvenience. When I discovered the issue, I requested a cancellation and a full refund. While customer service initially assured me I would receive a full refund, I was only refunded $36 out of the $96 I paid for the subscription covering May 31, 2024, to May 30, 2025. This is unacceptable.Calendly's actionscharging customers for a retired plan, failing to notify them about critical changes, and providing insufficient refundsdemonstrate deceptive business practices and poor customer service. This is not just about the money; it reflects a disregard for customers' trust and professional commitments.Initial Complaint

I signed up for a Calendly account through a business email in May of 2020, and the company and requested through the Help Desk/Chat that the account was closed when I left the company to go work full time with one of our clients only 3 months later. This of course never happened, and I was charged $10.64 from May 2020 through May 2024. I have tried MULTIPLE times to reach someone through the chat, only to be put in an endless loop requesting that I sign in to a PAID account before I can be helped. I would let the chatbot know I have a paid account, but I cant sign in, and then it would tell me to check my email (the company email in which I cannot check - in fact, at the time I didn't even know what email it was). Finally, I somehow got a support ticket sent to customer service, but even then the response time is literally days and days at a time. They kicked the can and sent me to 3 different people, only to finally be told that all sales are final, and I would not be getting a refund. This companies customer service is absolutely USELESS, and that is coming from someone who has been a longtime customer from the very beginning. In fact, I actually have an account with my current company right now. We will be canceling and finding somewhere else that provides the same services and also knows how to take care of their customers.Initial Complaint

My account login with ******************** used my previous work email, and I have not been able to login since I switched companies 4 months ago. I have tried to reset my account login but they offer only to reset account login by emailing the email they have on the account. I have reached out to the help center several times to ask someone to contact me so I can update my account login and access my account, but no one has replied to contacted me.Initial Complaint

I signed up for membership with Calendly at the end of May after the free trial. They charged $10/mo. However, the service is advertised at $8/mo. Also, none of the services promised work correctly. I've been charged for 2 months and have no services promised in the membership. My bank statements show their withdrawals. However, I was told by the chat bot that I don't have a membership. Then they sent a ticket number and said someone would reach out. No-one has and its been 48hrs.Initial Complaint

I have multiple times requested through Calendly's chat service to delete my account and stop charging me moving forward as I know longer have the email affiliated with the account. I was told that I would be refunded my money and the account would be deleted. I also sought to stop payment as well. Calendly continues to charge me for a service they are not providing as I don't have access to and have no desire to use while also refusing to delete the account affiliated with the email address. I request that they delete the account and cease charging me for the service.Initial Complaint

When my subscription to Calendly was renewed last year in 2022 I changed the setting to Do Not Renew. I would have cancelled the subscription at that time although it did not give me the option so I kept the subscripton for another year. When the renewal in 2023 came around I assumed it would not renew since I opted out of the renewal process. I was surprised when it renewed and the Do Not Renew option was no longer available. The day the subscription renewed I contacted the company to cancel and the only option I had was to downgrade my service and unable to cancel. I requested a refund and they could not and referenced the Terms and Condidionts. The Calendly site does not allow one to remove their credit card or cancel their subscription. The only option would be to cancel the credit card on file which doesn't seem right. This appears to be unfair business practices. Thanks for your time.Initial Complaint

Red flag: When I upgraded my Calendly from a free to a paid subscription on July 17, 2023, I immediately lost access to certain things that I had currently been able to access. The ***** number says they don't take live calls and to use their online help access. Since upgrading - I am not able to use the "send us a message" option. My account information is also gone from my profile page and I have to dig for it. I want a full refund. I emailed billing and asked for a full refund, since they misled me, changed my access for the worse, and they have made the business decision to have little to no help services to try to troubleshoot. You would think that upgrading my subscription would have come with some perks, like any kind of customer service. BUYERS BEWARE! I tried calling, emailed billing and they suggested I use the online chat, tried chat (I am still waiting in the chat room - it's been over 2.5 hours and I'm still waiting), tried the online help form - didn't work. So there seems to be no way of contacting a human being.I found a link to my account through one of their help articles and was able to finally downgrade back to a free account and my account profile access came back! They dropped my upgrade services INSTANTLY, but kept my money. That isn't right. At the very least, you need customer service. It feels like no one is at the wheel - they are letting the company/software run itself and take people's money. I'm learning not to do business any more with company's that don't have easy-to-access customer service with human beings. I feel duped and scammed by Calendly. And Calendly, if you read this, I want a full refund!
