      Don't ever use this company especially their Hospice. Worst care service. When tried to make a complain, they tend to cover up and make up some excuses. Leadership is incompetent in ****************, and they are rude. Always short of staffs, no wonder employees are leaving, high turnover. Won't recommend this company until they tried to change their management.

      7/2021 My aunt went to ER (***************) expecting leg fracture diagnosis. (During c-19 scandemic) was given a stage 4 metastatic breast cancer diagnosis. Wow is understatement. Encompass rehab (FXBG, Va-sucks!) sent her home on hospice (recommended Amedysis) . Offered no leg rehab, straight to drugs, drugs & more drugs (including ********)After 22 months and lots of questions! Suddenly she no longer needed hospice I think this company is evil, supports evil, promotes evil! If you love your family; trust God, he will make a way, healthcare will kill your loved ones !!!!When they got called out, she got discharged scam, scam, scam!

      Avoid Amedisys Hospice at All Costs I cant say this strongly enough do NOT trust Amedisys Hospice with the care of your loved ones. Their lack of compassion, professionalism, and follow-through is absolutely disgraceful. They rarely showed up when they were supposed to, and when they did, the care was minimal at best. My father was never seen by a doctor, despite clear signs that his condition was not being properly managed. They relied on outdated diagnoses and made no effort to reassess or actually help. Instead, they brushed it off with theres nothing we can do but comfort care and told us he had six months or less to live then left us to figure everything out on our own.Every time I tried to advocate for him, I hit another roadblock. Calls went unanswered, concerns were ignored, and we were left completely unsupported during one of the most painful times of our lives. This place is a nightmare. Save yourself the heartbreak, the stress, and the anger and go somewhere else.

      ******* **** (allegedly nurse case manager, has a massive potbelly and is obese) is incredibly rude and unempathetic. She will lie and make up stories that paint her as the victim. Lock the doors if she tries to come into your house. And then all she did was text on her phone while moaning as my husband slept. She spent in total ten minutes. ******* **** should be terminated and have her license revoked immediately as she is extremely unfit both emotionally and also mentally to be a nurse.

      Horrible care. Called the office to explain the situation and get help and did not want to help for speak to me. I was not trying to speak about the patient condition, only the help that she needed and the need for a social worker. I cannot express the rudeness, lack of caring, or sincerity that I witnessed. I would not recommend this company for anything and I am a care provider myself.

      My son met Sandrine who reassured my son and befriended him about my health and true to her word she has checked in on me and watched over my care even when she had to work on another shift. Thoughtful and kind

      The doctor at the hospital put in an PT order for my loved one who has dementia. The doctor said PT would be good for stretching to prevent further contractors of her lower extremities. Amedysis did not provide care because my loved one could not follow directions. A therapist should have been able to manually do the stretching like I was shown how to do by another therapist, it does not require the patient to follow directions. I do not recommend this company. They do not perform the services they stated they would do. This is not my first experience with this company. I do not recommend. Look for another home care service.

      High pressure to elderly and sick. Little to no service provided. After being pressured to sign, the only service provided is taking the elder's blood pressure followed by an invoice for $125 co-pay. When the elder attempts to cancel the elder is told that they MUST, at minimum, schedule another ($125 co-pay) appointment to cancel. This is unacceptable and shameful behavior.
