    1. They cannot keep old number (very complicated process with zero customer support), 2. multiple texts are not coming from senders, 3. Tello 5 G is much slower than on T-Mobile or Mint we had before, 4. calls drop, but the line stays open - you cannot hear the other side. 5. None of the instructions on the sign up web site state that it is 3-5 business days for delivery of tello SIM card, and it was actually more like 7-8 days, 6. and they do not explain that you need to have "alive" service to transfer old number - very poor guidance for new customers, (so it is such a hassle to update all accounts with new tel number - takes days, and some of them go to the extreme verification). 7. We selected Tello for international travel this summer - they advertise 60+ countries, but it is not included in the plan - you need to put $$ on the account to use Tello in another country - seriously! 8. A lot of incorrect advertisement. 9. poor customer support, very polite, but no help.

    I ordered a Grade A refurbished phone , 30 day warranty from Tello's website because my old phone stopped making calls or receiving calls and I tried resetting phone to VOLTE on tello network and restarting phone to no avail. I waited for the new phone from tello and this took over a week in which I had no working phone (likely because of Tello's shoddy network). Upon receipt of new phone I shortly discovered that the new phone's battery was not able to charge. I bought additional chargers to be sure, the phone would not charge. I called tello and they just said send it back and we will refund . I was informed that the new phone's 30 day warranty began the day I purchased the phone, not the day I received it. I sent the phone back with their return shipping label. weeks went by and they would not track the package or explain why it has not been received by them. customer service in ******* would not contact post office or refer me to a supervisor or manager ( she said they did not have any supervisors!) I called repeatedly and was refused any help for this situation. It appears that tello isnt interested in refunding my $450 i paid for a phone that didnt work and I never could use and did not have for more than a week. I have been unable to get any customer resolution. I requested a supervisor's help, that was denied by multiple rude and unhelpful people in a bolivian call center. I would not trust this company.

    I live in a state that is very weak with signals and mixed on top of it while one service will be good in the city the other one doesn't work over the road and many blind spots in the city I live in I live in the state of ******* so I decided to get hello loading was pretty easy out of five I would give it a four I encountered some problems but it was my mistake. After getting my service up and running which took a few minutes I'll be about a half an hour I also had purchase an s22 ultra from them it was decent price I checked I am very amazed at how well this service does I get service in places nobody else does and no you're high-speed data works just fine I play video games music I draw I write letters endless amount of horsepower that I use and your data works fine not all apps work the same only one amp I have an issue that floats in and out depending on where I'm at and I think it's not you I think it's the Bluetooth doing it and it's my music app from ******* but ******* then again has always given me issues your customer service is normal depending on the workload for them at the day always giving you options too and they're polite enough to respond back to because they are too busy they offer a phone call or email service I give them 5 out of five for their service their speed actually awesome and I'm going to spread it to my friends and trust me I checked it out I drove all over the state I drove all over my city without fail good job.

    I'll give 2 stars only because the phone calling and text did work most of the time. There were numbers (regular cell numbers on ******* and **** networks) that my Tello number could not call or receive calls from. The so called unlimited data is more of a scam. Even the high speed data would not stream low bandwidth video without slight buffering, while my Straight Talk streams even HD video smoothly. Tello coverage shows good 5G coverage in my area, and my phone shows full bars, so the issue is their network use or limitations placed on users. After using the 35 GB so called high speed, the throttled, lower speed data wasn't sufficient to fully load a web page in Chrome in response to a search.If you can afford ANY thing more main stream, do that. Tello service is less useful than I could have imagined.

    Is it any wonder that Tello has such a great rating? I've been using them for 5 years and never have had an issue. With plans starting at just $5/month, I can have a Sim card in each of my spare phones. If you use referral code P3BC54C5 when you open a new account, you'll receive a $10 credit right away. Tello's customer service is available 24/7. They not only answer their phone on the third ring but they answer email inquiries promptly as well. Their service is stellar. I've never had a dropped call and I like that international calls are included as well. Tello allow you to roll over unused minutes and data if you're on a limited plan. Unlimited everything plans currently go for $25/month and I don't think it gets much better than that. I recently purchased a new phone from them and they delivered it from *********, ** to ***********, ** in less than 24 hrs. They operate on the T-Mobile network and I highly recommend them.

    A frequent visitor to the *** who used the equivalent T-MOBILE services, I decided to try TELLO. Step 1- Logged on to their website and used the **** checking service.The response was: ``AWESOME! Your phone wants to join TELLO! ************************** cannot determine if a phone is locked and is also unable to unlock phones from other networks. Please contact your original carrier to find out your phone`s status. ``KNOWING FULL WELL THAT MY PHONE IS UNLOCKED, I bought the *** online. ($14.38)On reception, I ACTIVATED the *** and have been waiting EVER SINCE.I contacted their customer service to notify that the services don`t work and received in return an Email full of ``corporate gobbledygook` `.Remarks: The **** checker is MISLEADING.They should openly state the compatible LTE bands (2-1900MHz /4 - 2100MHz / ****** MHz)Misleading = SCAM

    This prepaid no contract tello mobile service is a scam ! I did not authorize auto pay and I was told that I could cancel at any time and receive prorated credit refund for the remaining balance of unused service. I was charged a full month of service on July 31 2024 canceled this service on August 3rd and transferred to a new carrier after porting and transferring my number to the new carrier on Aug 3 I did not receive my prorated refund balance for unused services I was charged $25.88 unlimited plan for only 3 days of service they refused to refund me for unused services I will file complaint with BBB and request charge back from my credit card provider.

    ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE TONIGHT July ********* from 9PM to 11PM.************************* said he could fix it without me replying to the email after he repeatedly said they needed the email and all points completely filled out and received so then he could escalate the issues and then have them resolved. Once I started replying to the email after getting out my laptop he continued to ****** me with more questions, the same questions that are in the email. Even after I had asked him to wait and stay connected in chat while I finished the email request. Shooting a few well phrased questions back at him he ended the chat abruptly. **** is an understatement for their customer service and they did not at all seemed concerned for the customer.Terrible mobile data speeds on 4G, barely over 1MB Download and 0.5 MB Upload. Unable to stream music from any app or browser on the phone. They openly advertise that their 4G MObile Phone Device speeds will provide a speed range of ***** MB Downloads. Have never seen those speeds on my phone with them. Using my home budget Wifi I have no problems with my ONEPLUS phone and see minimum speed of 25 MB when 25 feet away out in the yard and can watch videos using XFINITY.Prior to tonight my phone will at least once a day give me a notice that my provider has stopped providing voice services and I will have no service of any kind with an 'X' over the signal bars for a couple mins. I had ******** before this provider, TELLO is an MVNO that uses larger network towers, says they're using ******** towers. Problems like this would not happen if they're actually using ******** towers. I had no issues like this with older phones on ******** in ***************************************** *******, ** same as TELLO. It is advised that you do not use this provider TELLO if you would like to be able to stream music or use your phone for voice calls, it barely works and could leave you without any voice or data services when you need it most.

However, you refused this offer, insisting that our agent should remain connected to the chat while the email was being formulated. Despite the prolonged 40-minute chat session, the investigation was concluded within 48 hours, thanks to the assistance of our main network provider. It was determined that ********************** device, an Android 11 from 2020, was causing the network connection issues.We decided to review your case once again and we verified the customer service you were provided was the best possible, given the circumstances and the difficulty you proposed while gathering the information for the initial investigation.We're sorry for the inconvenience and hope you'll accept our resolution.

    Horrible experience! I purchased a new NUU A15 phone for $139 -- that's a lot of money for me. I can't operate the phone with the limited "Quick Start" manual provided --- I need a full owners' manual, which is not available! I want to return the device for a full refund. **************** sent me an e-mail with return info and a link for a shipping label. The link to the shipping label does not work! I can't complete the return steps because I can't operate the device!I canceled service the day after activating it.
