4/13/24 I signed son up for guarantee 1500+ SAT score prep with rep **** from this company. 3rd party person on the 3 way call was a life-long educator, **** ****** who told me about this program that she used in the past. Cost $6500, total *** paid $7,067 (larger than expected since **** said no interest) charged in divided portions to my discover card. No mention on time constraints for refund if SAT score <1500, only 50% return if <1500 & >1400 and 100% if <1400. My son was given a ****** ***** through matching process with whom we communicated for the duration of the prep. Being a Saturday worshipper, SAT first test was October 2024 received from *****. My son asked on 9/9/24 "Hey Mr. ****** is it possible that you have an SAT schedule because we have to get three tests in, I know I have one in October *** I know I have one at school in April." ***** gave him the Saturday schedule and suggested that he take it on the Sunday of that same weekend and we registered that same day. On 10/13/24 the 1340 result was told to ***** by my son. He also said that he didn't feel like taking it anymore and honestly he hates it. I only became aware of this discomfort when I asked my son for pics of the original text. I cannot sleep with the loss of my guarantee when the score was not achieved and the conditions for refund were not clearly communicated by anyone. This company placed my son with a tutor who also believed there were 3 required tests for which he gave him the schedule. The 2nd and 3rd scores were 1340 again and ***************** March 2025 and I called them to get my refund knowing I was compliant. I reached out to Sis Bulgin when the company refused; she can verify that 3 tests were required and no mention of a 60day time frame to request refund! Ad page deceptive! I really need my hard-earned refund due to deceptive practice of this company. My son would not have taken 3rd test nor would I pay if not told. I have all original texts and receipts.
