The company will send you the wrong item. They then will not send you a replacement or refund till 14 days AFTER they receive the mistake they made back.
I honestly would not have too much issues if it was a warranty claim. Things happen stuff breaks, but this was their mistake!! I have to suffer because whomever packs the order does not know to read numbers to give me the right item.
Call after call, email after email to customer service before they finally tell you tuff luck pal you will be lucky if you get the right product or even your money back.Taurus USA

BBB, thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr. Friel's review. We typically request for items to be returned before sending a replacement. In the event that we do ship the wrong item, we correct the issue by providing a shipping label and either replace if the item is in stock or refund if it is not. The timeframe for this is an estimated 7 to 10 business days. Once the item arrives, one of the two things mentioned above happens. It typically does not take 14 business days for an item to arrive through the mail.Review fromMelic F

I was suckered by the ******* videos and seduced by the prices. I bought a Taurus 605 a year ago.
My revolver was shooting bullet fragments into my hand via the cylinder. It wasn't too bad, but I wasn't going to shoot the thing anymore! I sent my revolver back on Valentine's day. For the last 2 and a half months they've reported nothing to me. I get a call and now they're saying they'll replace the gun, but I get to pay the transfer fee.
I bet I lost my third party grips too. I requested a manager and they said the manager would get right back to me. 3 days later I missed the manager's call. I immediately call back and the manager isnt available. They lie when they say thier contacr number is a customer service number. There's no service there, unless you like to be done wrong!
Moral of the story, stay away from Taurus.Taurus USA

If we determine we need to replace a firearm, then any additional cost that is accrued is the responsibility of the customer. Shoptaurus.com has terrible customer service. Basically they tell you right out they don’t give a care about you or your business. Very poor customer care. Spent a good amount of money with them this year but will never give them another penny of my money do the disrespectful handling of a situation that they created!

I purchased a new gun . Owned it for 2 months. Target shooting with ********** ammo. I shot 20 rounds threw it fast and the barrel twisted. I shot one round ,though I missed the target. Shot again you could hear the ammo colliding in the barrel. I sent the gun to the factory for repair. They wouldn't repair or replace. I spent around 1000.00$ They never called me for updates. Once I called them . They would never warranty it or fix it. I requested to talk to manager to solve the problem. Management wouldn't talk to me. They offered for me to buy another gun at their price .565.60 I said no . I have already lost 1100.00 for purchase and shipping to the factory. Their guns are not safe !Taurus USA

BBB, thank you for the opportunity to address Mr. Eversfield's concerns. Upon evaluation of the firearm Mr. Eversfield's sent in, our repair department determined that it has a squib load and the barrel is bulged where the lead got stuck. Our repair department did not observe any twisting of the barrel. Squib loads are ammo related and our warranty does not cover ammo related damage. We will reach out to Mr. Eversfield within 2 business days to provide options available to him.D. E.

1 starFor long time I have been looking to the Taurus ** ** and willing to purchase it.
On the 29th December 2022 this was sold for 201 US$.
When I went on the 15th Jan 2023 to buy it, all of a sudden the price had jumped to 243 US$, representing a hefty 21% increase for the same firearm - no extra features added. Same item.
I reached out to Taurus to show them my disappointment ( how many of you have received a 21% increase?) and here below a copy and paste of their answer,

I consider this answer a BLESSING; because it gives me a true reality check of what the customer service is in this company and what YOU WILL expect, when something goes wrong with your Firearm (and Taurus is notorious for quality issues)

Ordered a product and have yet to receive it. Under my account, it clearly shows the date of the order as well as the order number. I've called The first couple times and they stated that they see where I had placed order and they trying to research why it has not been fulfilled. I'll call back and now they say they cannot find my order. I've escalated this problem to the supervisor, and I've yet to get a response. My question is if they've seen where I had placed the order and they took my money; how come they did not ship my order when they saw it when I called. I was warned by several other consumers to not trust this company and now I see why. Based on my experience; it's best to do business with other manufacturers rather than with this company..Taurus USA

This is the worst firearms company I've ever dealt with. I need a yoke screw assembly which I had called and talked to Melissa two different times a different lady and then a man in the tech department no one could help me. After two calls finally got the part number which of course is not in stock for two different parts (I just need the internal parts of the yoke screw assembly the spring and The cone cylinder...) They could not even help me cross reference the part which I was able to do after a lot of investigation. Went on their website to order said part two different times added to cart purchased item was refunded next day due to them not having part which they showed was available on their site two different times. When told I could send it off for $100 they said that the bench or gunsmith they work with maybe we'll have the part because they carry different inventory, I asked if they could call and verify the parts before I spent the $100 to send it off which they said no there was no way to contact them.. Why would anyone gamble shipping a gun for $100 with the possibility of losing that money for another "sorry we don't have the part" you wasted your time and money? You can't call your other departments and communicate!? I can't find a part for a gun that was manufactured in 2008 which was a mainstream revolver 357!!? My gun is now a basic paperweight if I ever find out how to fix this I will get rid of this handgun immediately and never purchase from Taurus again the tech department and parts department is not educated with the firearms they deal with and are no help. The company doesn't even have an email that should tell you everything you need to know. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company and buy the main brand names *****, *****, ****, ******. BBB, thank you for the opportunity to address **. ***** concerns. First, **. *****, we do apologize that we had to cancel orders that were placed due to no inventory. It is in the best interest of both our customer and ourselves to cancel the order instead of having the customer wait for a part that is not actually in stock. Our system took a little longer than normal to remove the cart option from the item that was requested since inventory was no longer available. There is a $50 benchfee that we charge to bring firearms in when the problem is customer induced. Considering, that the part was lost about a year and a half ago, according to a previous phone call, the $50 bench fee was warranted. Also, Customer Service representatives do not have access to be able to consult other departments throughout the day. However, this should have been handle differently to properly assist **. ***** and we take full responsibility. We will use this incident as a teaching opportunity for representatives. For the inconvenience, we have located the part **. ***** requested and it is being shipped via *****. Tracking number is ************. Again, our apologies and please let us know if we can assist further.
