Purchased new 10/31/24, ********** rec/11/4/24. Issue with safety out of the box - bolt assembly would not lock in place and release for lock nonfunctional. After numerous attempts by email and phone finally received email with ***** label and shipping instructions. 11/20/24 shipped by ***** to Taurus USA. They indicated a 3 to 4 week turn around, so I did not follow up on it. I actually did receive it back on 12/12/24 with a warranty ticket stating the forearm rod had been replaced and that 26 rounds of ******* ***** ** ** ammo had been tested. Unpackaged rifle, placing ammo in rifle - NO change! Immediately called Taurus and after lengthy discussion about the safety issues and operation they agreed to have it sent back. Sent ***** 12/18/24 and they received it on 12/20/24. After several weeks I tried to get a repair status and no call backs received, waiting on phone line for up to 3 hrs resulting in disconnects getting a simple status of repair is not possible. Finally on 2/19/25 I received an email with a new order number and then on 2/2025 I received another email that it was still in the repair process and they did not know if repaired on not! After 5 months the rifle should be returned repaired correctly or replaced. The rifle only has a 12-month warranty to start with. Sadly, I like the rifle but will not buy another product serviced by Taurus USA and you may want to take this review and many others into consideration before making a future product purchase.Taurus USA

Taurus USA is a terrible company! So bad! I sent a brand new firearm back to them for a second time, because the firearm was not repaired and never worked from the initial purchase, sent back 4 months ago for a second time. Can’t reach anyone through phone or email. The initial purchase being done over 7 months ago. I’m beginning to think they are scamming all their customers with all the multiple complaints I’m seeing. I will never ever recommend Taurus to anyone!!!!!Taurus USA

I sent my firearm to Taurus for service and have been waiting for an update. I have reached out three times via email and phone but have not received any response. Initially, a representative contacted me, but they have since stopped responding.
After nearly two weeks, I received a new ticket from the corporate email, which raises concerns about whether my firearm has been misplaced or if there are issues tracking service requests. Given the nature of the product being handled, I find this lack of communication and organization very concerning.
For reference, my ticket number is ten thousand four hundred eighty, and the individual who initially emailed me was gjones. I would appreciate a prompt response and clarification regarding the status of my firearm. If I do not receive an update within the next week, I may need to explore other options to resolve this matter.
I look forward to hearing from Taurus as soon as possible.Taurus USA

I intended to post a review of Taurus USA customer service based on my recent experience, but I see that lots of folks have already done that. I find it odd that the excuse from Taurus is virtually the same in every case. I've owned multiple Taurus firearms over the years and had no complaints until I needed their help with an issue I was having with a new firearm that I purchased. Phone calls, email, nothing I do gets a response from anybody. I sold that brand new firearm to a local gun shop today for a parts gun. Never, never, ever again Taurus. Your products are only as good as your customer service. Based on that, your products aren't good. Don't buy a Taurus firearm.Taurus USA

Taurus’ website has been non-functional for at least a month for processing new firearm warranty registrations. There’s an obvious code problem with their warranty registration website. I am almost a full month past the 30-day registration period described in the warranty documentation. But I can neither use their website NOR get anyone on their customer support line to assist.
Their Bainbridge, GA HQ has a non-functional voicemail and customer support call system. I have searched for employees on ******** to try and reach their staff. I have considered calling local law enforcement to request a “wellness check” on the staff. Their last official communication in late February 2025 about the issue was on ********. That was a month ago.
I have no indication that they will ever have a working customer support website OR call center, nor am I confident that they will honor my new firearm warranty beyond the requisite 30-day registration window.Taurus USA

I’ve been trying to get a hold of Taurus to check on the repair of my brand new TX22. The magazine would drop, without depressing the magazine release. Sent my pistol almost 3 months ago and have been trying to find out the status of the repair. The issue is, I cannot get anyone to answer or return my calls. I have attempted to receive a call back, more than 5 times and have waited over 3 hours on hold, 2 times. After placing my first review with the BBB, I finally received an email from Taurus, sending me information on how I can send in my pistol for repair!? Ridiculous. It was sent almost 3 months ago and it was confirmed delivered via FedEx. Which is the company they had picked to handle the return. Is my pistol lost? No answer from Taurus. I agree with another review. If no star was a possible rating, that is what I would pick. 1 star is being generous to Taurus. LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE!Taurus USA

Would not satisfy a rebate. I bought a ***** ****** ******** and was supposed to have received a free revolver. I got a confirmation number and still have not seen the revolver. When I try to call no one answers. Emails get kicked back for security reasons???? Terrible lying company.
Next move will be file BBB complaint and then an attorney for false advertising. Totally dishonest!Taurus USA
