On March 21, 2023, I placed two separate orders, one online for 2 8 x 10’ area rugs, totaling $909.50 including a special discount offer plus tax and a separate telephone order for stair treads and a landing mat, totaling $629.85. As of today, I have not received the products, despite multiple efforts via telephone and via their website’s customer service system. The replies from customer service have been vague, as to when I might expect the rugs to be delivered. The one time I was able to speak with a human being, several weeks ago, I was told that they were experiencing delays at the factory due to labor shortages. The person promised to have her supervisor (who was out of the office that day) call me back to discuss possible substitutions for my order, but I have heard nothing.Initial Complaint

I ordered stair treads on November 5, 2022 for 1136.98. I am a repeat customer and have ordered from this company several years ago. I followed up in January 2023 and also in May 2023 to inquire about why my order was taking so long. I did receive responses from the company indicating they were having supply chain issues. I repeatedly asked for a refund with no luck. They finally agreed to provide a refund in writing via email on May 23, 2023 but I have not received it yet and have not had any communication since then after three additional follow ups.Initial Complaint

Purchased 2 sets of carpet treads (3 treads per set) Order#***** from *********************** for a total price of $260.00 on November 28, 2022. Company kept stating in email "Should ship soon" after almost nine months I requested cancellation and refund. Comment back from company is he'll cancel order. No mention of refund and when requesting status of refund, there has been no response. He takes orders for products and does not deliver and keeps the purchased funds. On January 17th I ordered 6 stair treads for $182,00. Paid in full and received an email from, *********** ***** with an order summary and an order confirmation #*****. I found it strange that it did not come from Dean Stair Treads. I have called numerous times and have sent emails to ***********************************. I contacted them several time by phone and sent emails to provide me with information on my order. On 2 occasions I called and the women said she would look into it and haveI left various voicemails No response! I sent emails on 2/16/24, 4/11/23, 5/10/23, 5/20/23 and today 6/20/23 after leaving a message on the company's voicemail. All I want is a refund if the order cannot be filled. When I looked up the company its sounds like they are scam artist under a fictitious religious name. Please protect consumers from this company.

We ordered Stair treads from Dean's Stair treads mid April 2023. My husband spoke to them about the order and payment and they were supposed to email us a confirmation and invoice summing up the order of stair treads which came to over $500. They never sent us the promised invoice nor will they answer the phone or respond to emails. Their website is still up. According to ****** they have great ratings. We want our Stair Treads that we have already paid for. It has been over 2 months! Why are these people still open? We will have our credit card company pursue them if we do not hear anything back from them within the next week.Initial Complaint

On January 19, 2023 I placed an order (order # *****) with Deans Stair and Treads for $341.98 for stair treads and double sided stair tape. It is now June 10 and I still have not received the order. I have sent two emails with no response and they will not answer the phone. I have left one voice mail message.

HI - I received your follow up report letting me know that the business did not respond to you, which was not unexpected. There are questions in your response but there was no way to actually respond in that note, so I am responding this way via email.
No I have not heard from the company, and No i am not satisfied with the outcome. This company is beyond fraudulant. They are continuing to do business on-line and unsuspecting people are sending them money for goods that they will never receive. That is what bothers me the most. Based on the complaints I’ve read, they are scamming people out of small amounts of money.. less than $500.. .probably hoping that we will just walk away.
They really need to be shut down. If you look further at their practices, they have recently stopped allowing contact through email and have now switched to ******** Messenger.
The ******** ******* ** ******* should get involved.
Also - In my complaint info, none of the info that I’ve provided the BBB is listed. The disputed amount, the dates etc… were all included in my complaint but are shown as “not provided”
Please let m know if there is anything else you need from me. I look forward to putting these folks out of business before they scam anyone else.

Submitted and paid for an order for 13 nonslip stair treads on 5/4/23 (order *****)
After I sent first email to them I received a response that stated it would be shipped soon.
Two other email inquiries went unanswered.

I ordered carpet stair treads in December of 2022. On January 31 2023 the sent a confirmation email for order # ***** billing me $119.99.
February 1 2023 they withdrew funds from my bank account for $119.99.
March 9 2023 I sent email inquiring the status of the order. They responded by email stating they expected to ship it soon reminding me of it’s a custom order, many other customers and supply chain issues.
March 31 2023 I sent another email about the order. I wrote if they cannot get my order sent in two weeding expect a refund.They responded by email stating they would try to get my order out in the time frame.
April 24 2023 I sent an email stating Since my order (*****) has not been received for almost 4 months I am requesting a full refund refund. I received no response.
I made several phone calls to the company and left messages with no response.
May 26 2023 I sent an email “ It has been 5 months since I have ordered stair treads and as of yet no treads or refund. I am not in a position to lose $119.00 or not receive the product I ordered. The integrity of your company after emails and phone messages over the past few months has led me to believe your company is very questionable. I would appreciate a viable response from your company as to a refund or the product being delivered.“ Again no response.Initial Complaint

I have yet to receive the shipment and after multiple attempts to reach them through email and by phone, I have received no response. I asked them to refund my payment and cancel the order. Friday, June 2nd, 2023.Dean's Stair Treads: I wanted to check in again about our apparently, non-existant spiral stair treads. I ordered these items and paid for them on Jan 11, 2023 in good faith. I have the credit card transaction: Deans ******** **** GA, per credit card by ******** ******* ****** for 1564.00. Would you please give me a call or send an email ASAP? If I do not hear from you by Tuesday, I will report you to the following agencies:Better Business Bureau****** ******** *********************** **************************** **** -- showing (using our invoice from your company and displaying the credit card charge amount paid for in good faith) that this is a sham business and credit agencies, banks, esp Paypal should not honor charges with you and their customers. Also, I will place repeated allegations against any dealings with you on Google, Yelp, and Angies List, as well as Instagram, FB, and Twitter. I hope this can be resolved by refunding our money immediately. If not, the consequences are listed.
