  THIS IS A CON. The charged me all these fees to become a verified member background check, rental history, income etc... I get approved. I pay for a room only to get a rejection letter 2 days later. Because of rental history. I have no evictions because I just signed a lease with a apartment from *******************. My move in date is May 23. I need a place for a month. So I got denied 3 times. They collected their setup and laugh while I got denied. It's a con....DO NOT USE!! ******* ** MARKET

  We are fortunate our house is in good condition, and our house mates are very nice. our house stays very quiet, and comfortable. Took many months to get the home owner/management team to address a few of the things that needed to be fixed but they did get to them. As far as PadSplit goes for its self HORRIBLE STAFF/MANAGEMENT FOR PADSPLIT IS DISGUSTING,UNPROFESSIONAL,POORLY MANNERED. WHICH IS VERY DISAPPOINTING SEEING THEY ARE YOUR DIRECT CONTACT. YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE A CONTACT CALL BACK FROM ANYONE TO ADDRESS ANY CONCERNS YOU HAVE GRANTED YOU WILL BE TOLD YOU WILL RECEIVE A CALL BACK. IT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE THE *** OF PADSPLIT ALLOWS HIS STAFF TO ACT IN THE MANNER THEY DO. I WILL BE REACHING OUT TO THE *** ********************** THROUGH HIS EMAIL ADDRESS FOR HIS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AT ATTICUS@STRYANTCONSTRUCTION. IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE COMFORT OF MY HOME WHERE I RENT MY SPACE, THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DUE TO PADSPLIT THEMSELVES. THEY TRULY SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR CONDUCTING Themselves IN THE MANNER WHICH THEY DO. I HOPE THE *** HAS ENOUGH CARE AND SENSE TO MAKE QUICK CHANGES WHERE NEEDED. IT WILL ONLY BENEFIT HIS COMPANY TO DO SO. Be sure to have the "Chores" portion turned on the app so you get credit for cleaning the house each week. Each member pays a fee to have padsplit send out a cleaner once a month to do a general clean in the common areas but padsplit never sends them out at all, so you want to make sure you get your credit twords rent each week for doing appropriate chores.

  I moved into ************************************************************** 9/25/2022. My 1st day this particular ******* introduced himself as the house drunk. I knew it would be trouble from that moment. I made sure to avoid him. I noticed he would always open his door or come out of his room everytime I came out to leave, cook, or go to the restroom. It was very creepy. And I noticed he was very filthy. Never has showered since I moved in. Padsplit found out he had a live in girlfriend and she moved out before he got in trouble. Its been h*** every since. This guy has been stealing people's food, intentionally leaving urine, f**** and public hairs everywhere in the restrooms. He drinks beer all *********** before and after work and he stomps through the house slamming doors, arguing on the phone in the wee hours of the morning 2am-3am. Not to mention cooking at midnight and we wake up to grease, flour, and everything else he uses allover the stove, floor, countertop, sink, and microwave. He doesn't do any community chores. And laughs about it. We've made several reports and always get the generic messages including we could move out. He gets VA mail and has told us he's not going. There is a mental issue. The host has been to the home and have experienced his odor and had to tell him to wash his clothes and bedding. The smell is overwhelming and it spreads throughout the house whenever he opens his door. Recently he intentionally locked the womens bathroom door and disappeared for hours. We had to call a locksmith because the bathroom he uses is disgusting. We noticed all of the knives in the kitchen were missing that day. We reported and got nothing but the same generic response but to call 911 if threatened. Padsplit should not be a place for the mentally disturbed. Things keep escalating and ***** will remove this guy. 1 new padmate didn't last 30 days. He was furious the guy kept stealing his food & moved out. If everyone is saying the same thing, about 1 person, do something. Not safe.

  With the rising prices of rent I needed a temporary home and I was so grateful to find a place that was in my budget ! Im forever grateful! I was the only female in the home and the 5 men treated me with so much respect!

  PadSplit is a good way to start off from coming from a loss, separation, divorce etc.The process was pretty smooth. I gave it a 4 star because of the cleanliness of the other tenants but it was manageable. I was able to save up and transition into my own place so overall it was a positive experience.
