      We have had several issues over the years with Pete Alewine Pools and especially the Service Manager Charles. His behavior and customer service attitude is by far the worst we have ever delt with. In ******* 2024 when we received a $2,000 water bill. The pool technician assured us he would add water and turn off when he left. When we got the water bill, I did research with the water department, and they pinpointed the date and time the water was turned on (and turned off). I called Charles and of course he stated it was not his technician and completely refused to take any responsibility.
      The next issue was when we were told we had to replace our sand filter with the new cartridge type. This would have cost over $3,000. We declined.
      Next issue was yesterday. Supposedly the pool heater was not working. Pete Alewine sent out a tech and we were told we needed a new $5,000 heater. He not only quoted $5,000 he also told the buyer that the heater was obsolete and discontinued. As one could imagine, this created a huge problem with the buyer. We had another company look at heater. The water was not flowing to it and therefore it would not come on. Valves were adjusted and "poof" heater worked.
      We believed we could trust Pete Alewine. Unfortunately, it seems our trust may have been unfounded.
      What is extremely is when I called Charles he got extremely upset and fired us as customers and refused to maintain our pool.
      WOW!!!!
      With Charles in charge of their service department, I am surprised Pete Alewine is in the pool business at all.
      Never do business with these people. Their customer service is terrible.

      Purchased a recommended pool cleaner and paid a premium for the piece of mind. What a mistake that was! They do not stand by the products they sell and could care less about repeat business. I also had to schedule multiple service appointments with them because they do not follow up with their appointments. Twice I had to schedule a pool school with them and I also had to follow up with them to make sure they came out. They never bothered to contact me for my latest service to replace my mother board even though they make you fill out a service request form to ensure an appointment. Basically this company could care less about you the customer and I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommend to all to stay clear of Pete's. Extremely poor service and if I had first read the reviews posted I could have saved myself a lot of aggravation and wasted money.

      You attempted to return a product that clearly states on the receipt and in the store that we do not accept returns on. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take an electric cleaner home for over a month, let it clean up your pool and then return it. Sorry. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the product.
