      I recieved a bill from Gainesville Radiology with a balance of $90.98 from tests my daughter received while she was in the **** last year, with dates on the tests being done in June and July. As I had already paid their balance for that time period, I called to inquire about this bill. They stated that an ultrasound done on 7/28/22 was deemed not medically necessary and that I was responsible for the balance. This was not a test that I requested and was something a **** provider ordered during her stay. Per the EOBs we receive in the mail, I understand I am not responsible for the balance of a test that a provider ordered unless I requested it and signed something stating I would be responsible for the cost--which I definitely did not. I believe that I am recieving this bill in error and would appreciate help resolving the issue. This company has terrible reviews online with numerous patients reporting being unjustly being sent to collections and having terrible issues with customer service, and my phone call today certainly demonstrated that as well. The person I spoke with first hung up on me, and then after waiting for a long time, was rude and very unhelpful. I called Cigna, my insurance company, as well, and they determined I did not owe a balance to this company. I would greatly appreciate help resolving this issue with this company. I certainly suggest that whoever reviews this complaint searches the company on ****** and reads all the terrible things they have put their customers through.

      I sent a check from my bank the day after receiving the bill. It was promptly sent, received, and deposited by Gainesville Radiology Group. I have proof that the check cleared my bank and monies removed.3 weeks after the check was received I get a call from collections asking for money. I thought maybe there was a mistake, things happen, but when I finally got through to a person at Gainesville Radiology Group, their response was the equivalent of "oh well, we'll just have to wait". What!?! You're the ones not waiting and turning me over to collections as soon as possible! It feels somewhat fraudulent, like they are trying to collect money twice for the same bill.
