    We had an insurance claim with Travelers where they used this service. I have been trying to get answers but just keep getting dodged around. They have taken and not returned items from our home, They caused damage to items in our home, They ripped and ruined very expensive furniture, They did not clean items that they billed our insurance for cleaning, They ruined our floors, causing our insurance to pay from our policy. I have provided photos and back up and they have not even as much as apologized. Some of the items affected belong to my late mother and I paid to move them here from ****** last year. I want my items returned, the ruined items replaced, the items they damaged fixed, reimbursement to our insurance for flooring and my couch reupholstered.

    800-Packouts has damaged my home when they struck it with a box truck on bring back of my belongings. Also, they damaged some of the items they had stored and returned along with simply not returning other items. The company is refusing to negotiate further for the items damaged or lost and for the damage to my home when they struck the corner of the roof. We did agree on an amount of $1700 for the roof. I provided pictures, a list, and replacement costs for the other items damaged or lost; however they provided a low ball offer of $2400 total (which included the $1700 for the roof) with a threat to go to collections if i do not accept their offer. I have contacted the corporate office several times and cannot get anyone to call me back. The manager, *********************, has not provided info on the numbers they came up with to offer such a low amount and I am either stuck taking their low offer in hopes to end everything or have my credit effected while I wait for the company to make it right. In fact, before agreeing to the $1700 for the roof, **** offered $846 for the items, and has since lowered it to $700, all the while, the number i came up with for the items is $1411. I looked up these items prices and provided them a list. I am unable to get someone from the corporate office to return my calls or emails. Instead, the person screening the calls just suggested that "I take the offer from *********************." It is not a fair offer and I do not believe I should be forced to eat the cost of items they lost or destroyed. I have the final check from the insurance company for 800-Packouts, but at the advice of the insurance company, I am holding it until this issue is resolved.

    I have reached out to the owners of the 1-800-Packouts of ******* Franchise and they have been told to handle this dispute. As this is a dispute with the 1-800-Packouts of Georgia location, we kindly ask that if the author of the complaint desires to continue this complaint, that it be filed with the 1-800-Packouts of Georgia location. Hopefully they will get this resolved. 

    I have reached out to the complaint author via email as well.
