1 starComplete Scam, took my car there to change a bearing which typically costs $250-500 they added a bunch of thing on top of that and the total was $3000. They double charged for a part and the person who test drove it LIED TO MY FACE I had to turn around and take it back to have them fix it. They still haven't replaced the stole money from me. Never do business here. They also have drug dealers hanging around outside that sell to the employees. This is why they mess everything up because they are all high and refuse to do any kind of drug test of their employees.Review fromMisti A

I talked to a guy on the phone about my car & brake lights I saw on the dash. When I arrived, I repeated my concerns about the brake lights. After awhile, I got an estimate which included other safety recommendations. One was to replace brake fluid only. I agreed to that alone. But, when I got my car back, the same lights were still on. So, I went back in to get the lights cleared & the same guy told me that the lights were not part of the repairs. He even went as far as to tell me several times to call the manager. This was AFTER he couldn't explain to me why he neglected to check the very reason why I brought the car in. Following some back and forth with this kid, he tried to tell me how my illuminated dash issue (the very reason why I came in) was NOT in a safety inspection. Yet, other systems not related to brakes including Transmission, Steering, Coolant are in it. Never in this process did this guy recommend that I get another diagnostic to get to the root of the illuminated dash issue (despite or among) all the other recommended services on the estimate that was listed. Basically, they performed a service unrelated to the very reason why I brought it in. When I questioned their motive, this same guy, said that he didn't tell me to get that service that would tell what the issue could be. This is true, but what is also true, is he never explored or resolved the very reason why I brought the car in! Needless to say, after all those hours of wasted time, safety still being an issue, 3-4 calls to regional managers and corporate to file a grievance, we finally got help. ***** and ***** at the Southlands ******** helped me resolve the issue and did it with exceptional customer **********************. My guess is the labor at the Quincy ******** is either low rate and/or they just don't care. Either way, if a customer only goes to the Quincy ******** and never visits the Southlands ********, I can see how they would have a very poor opinion of this business and its practices.Drive Automotive Services, Inc.

1 starWorst experience Ive ever had with any company. Took my car to have vibration in front end checked, no contact from them for four days. On the fifth day received an invoice to have my catalytic converter replaced. It was stolen while they had my car. Kerrys Auto would not take responsibility for it and advised me to file an insurance claim with my insurance and they would fix it. They are ****************** Companies. No apology from anyone and two employees actually laughing at us because we were upset. Dont trust this company.Review fromAvery C

1 starHad an oil change performed on 07/01/2023, and on 07/03/2023 I noticed there was oil leaking from the car. I prompty notified the shop and brought the car back in for them to look at. The service manager then tells me the leak had been there for a while, and was not caused by their work. There was oil all over the drip pan and drain plug, I asked him how they would not have noticed that while doing the oil change less than 48 hours ago. His response was to call me a liar. The car has never leaked, and less than two days after bringing my vehicle in for a service, suddenly there's a leak and they claim they did not cause it. I find it hard to believe the two aren't related. They claim to perform a 23 point inspection with the oil change as well, if they couldn't see the oil less than 2 inches from where they drained it, how could they be trusted to inspect any of the other items? If it was a longstanding issue that they claim, why would they not mention their oil leak service to me? Instead of owning up to it, the manager ***** called me a liar and to pound sand.Review fromRenita P

1 starOur car's check engine light came on and we usually take our vehicles to one trusted shop that we have used for years, but they were closed. We took our vehicle to the ********** Service Street location to have an engine diagnostic performed. The Technician contacted my Husband and said that we needed an O2 sensor replaced and a fuel injection service. The cost was $2,500. Reluctantly we had the service performed. We were told it would take a day or two for the repairs due to getting the proper parts. To our surprise they called us that same evening and said the car was ready for pick up.2 days later the check engine light returns. We take it back to this shop and the tell us that now the other 02 sensor needs to be replaced!!! We questioned why this wasn't picked up on the diagnostic that we just had performed. They couldn't give us a good explanation. They request $1,000 to fix this sensor. We decline and contact customer ********************** immediately. Customer ********************** offered no help.We finally get our vehicle to our trusted shop and they tell us that a line was CUT, not damaged by wear/tear, but CUT and from their inspection it looks as though the incorrect 02 sensor was replaced. My Husband goes back to Service Street to speak w/ the Manager. My Husband was very calm and while explaining the issue the Manager starts laughing. My Husband tells him he is glad that he finds this funny because this is definitely not funny to us. Of course the Manager tries to say we have to prove that they purposely cut the line. He request that we bring the car back to them so him and the Technician can look at it and determine if they indeed cut it and to determine if they changed the correct O2 sensor. Yeah like they would actually admit to damaging a vehicle to make more money. No one else was under the hood of the vehicle since we left their facility and took it to our trusted shop. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.Review fromJames A

3 starsNeeded Ignition Lock Module replaced only, technician and service insisted needed new ignition, new key and reprogramming. First they said ordered wrong module. Next said had to bring in an outsourced programmer. I stated didn't need new ignition and desired not to program or rekey. Took 2.5 days for a 3 hour max **** Turned out I was absolutely correct, no reprogramming, ignition, or rekeying needed. My personal logical assumption is outsourced programmer came in to fix job correctly yet denied had other personnel outside their shop. My complaint is excessively OVERCHARGED. Module part new is $135-150 before taxes. Was charged almost triple, $365.00. Labor was apparently high, but acceptable, but couldn't justify total fees of nearly $78.00 which there was no environmental or hazardous waste, so again assuming for shop related materials. Was originally quoted for $343 for job that actually cost me $821. Since today is first day with vehicle back hopefully no issues. Does come with 1 Year, 12K mile warranty. Good people, friendly but please diligently research who you want servicing your vehicle. Noticed many negative reviews and wasn't 100% satisfied with COSTS considering their fair pricing policy. From reading numerous customer reviews it does appear mechanics lack expertise and knowledge in many circumstances and that's exactly how I perceived my experience for my vehicle. All is well currently, will update if experience any difficulties but only if those can't be resolved. On a personal note, I'm a retired Manufacturer Technician from FMC.Review fromEvest S

1 starService Street in Southland's is advertising oil changes which includes synthetic oil and filter for $24.99. My Son took the car there prior to this recent visit and was charged $80.00 which I can understand due to the make and model. On 06/02/23 they failed to tell him how much it would cost which violates the ******** Motor Vehicle Repair Act (MVRA). They charged him $185.00 for the oil change, to take advantage of someone with a disability, is disgusting!!!! This also violates the ******** Consumer Protection Act (CCPA). I will be filing a claim with the ************************* as well as the **********************!Review fromRyan T

1 starTook my *** into this shop for an oil change and for someone to look at my back power window that was stuck rolled down. The service advisor **** was incredibly rude to me and talked down to me like I was stupid probably cause I am young women and a new car owner. They didnt have the part at the shop immediately, so they said the best they can do was secure it fully rolled up. Instead of properly doing securing my window by manually cranking the motor like I researched, they diy taped it to the top of my door window so that when I take the ugly bright blue tape off it completely falls down. They could not even provide secure tape like duck tape and suggested I buy some on my own time. In addition, there is now a strange rattling sound in the door panel that was not there before. When **** called me about the repairs he completely left out the part that the window was not fully secured and i could not take the tape off and that they basically made it so much worse. I was charged $219 in labor alone for a job that I could have figured out to do on ******* in 20mins. We called the shop later to see if **** could fix this and he was aggressive immediately and said I was lying about the information he told me originally. I put my trust in this shop and was meet with complete incompetence and wanting to charge me extra services I didnt ask for or could afford. **** was more worried about completing a $550 break repair and was too lazy to spend the time to correctly fix my window. I am not even sure that my car even needs break repairs cause my receipt had the completely wrong car attached to the services they did on my **** I am incredibly disappointed with this shop and will probably never return unless someone deals with my mess of a car and the attitude of this incompetent egotistical mansplaining service advisor. I expect to receive a call from corporate ASAP!
