Over the past few weeks I have been calling, calling and emailed Vine Disposal , in regards to my invoice. I have been very patient and accommodating because I understand things happen and people may forget to contact you back but after 6+ calls and an email my frustration as a consumer is past the limit. I rented a portable dumpster on 4-5-25 which was delivered on 4-7-25 which included a 14 rental period on 4-21-25 I called and advised the dumpster would not be ready for pickup due to my wife being hospitalized. The young gentleman I spoke with told me it will be a $16 a charge which I was fine with. Fast forward to 4-25-25 they came to pick up the dumpster in the morning but it was blocked by my wife's vehicle due to her being in the hospital so they were unable to pick it up, I called an let them know, in which they then advised me there is a $120 charge since the driver came out , I said that's fine, understandable. I called later that day again to let them know it was ready and no vehicles were blocking the dumpster, I also asked if there was someone I could speak to so I could get an accurate heads up of the amount that would be charged to the card on file , the young lady I spoke with told me all the managers are busy and would be out of the office until Monday and to email her. So I emailed, and no reply .. followed up on Monday afternoon, same thing was told someone would give me a call back ,, no call back happen, I called again on Wednesday and spoke with a guy on the phone for about 30 min because I received my invoice and it was not correct, I was charged an additional $41.40 for Tonnage Fee, mind you when I called last week they told me my dumpster was actually under the allotted weight limit of my rental which was 3 tons, so when I saw an additional charge for being over weight I was confused , so yet again I called to attempt to speak with someone and no one was available, my initial reservation was for a 3 ton dumpster and that's what I paid for.Business Response

I rented a roll-off 20 yard dumpster from **** on July 8, 2024 for delivery on July 26, 2024 for $437.35. This was the third time I had rented this unit from them in the last year. Every time I rent, I schedule a pickup at the same time I place the order for delivery and that is two weeks from delivery. I requested pickup for this dumpster for August 9th. When Vine did not pick it up, I called them on Monday, Aug. 12 and they came and picked it up. On August 13, Vine charged an additional $49.44 to my AMEX without agreement and I called them. They said that the charge was valid and I then disputed it with AMEX. **** decided against me on that disputed and restored the disputed charge on Sept. 22, 24 and this paid Vine in full for all the claimed amounts. On Nov 14, I was made aware of a lien filed against my property, myself, my wife and some unknown company in Gwinnett Cty for $250. I called Vine and they have not called me back. I emailed them and they said that they will enforce the lien for $250. I sent them a demand letter noting the errors, deficiencies and reasons for the Lien being invalid on it's face and in facts and they said in effect "~Pay it or we'll see you in Court" This is, in my opinion extortion through abuse of the lien system and I will pursue all remedies available to me.Initial Complaint

11/09/2024 my account was charged twice $499 & $134 WITHOUT my authorization I received email with a generic receipt NOT stating what the charges was for. Just had the total amount. I call and email Vine disposal several times trying to get clarification on the charges, no one can tell me what they are for. Everyone is clueless,I finally speak to a gentlemen on the phone and he stated the charges was for FEBRUARY of 2024!!! Absolutely insane, unprofessional and such a scamming company trying to steal peoples money. It doesnt take 9 months to charge me for any additional charges. Beware of this company they will Fabricate weight tickets and charge you later with no explanation. This is WRONG! Ive disputed the charges with my bank After several attempts of trying to communicate with this company. ******** customer service. Hopefully this is a warning to others to stay away. I reached out to this company to rent a dumpster. The next day I requested pick up and removal at noon. I was advised that they received my request and it would be picked up accordingly. They ended up coming an hour and a 1/2 early. The dumpster was not full and my workers were still working. When I reached out they gave me an excuse that they came early because of expected weather. Then they came up with another excuse when I requested some type of compensation. I have been left to find an alternative for the removal of the additional debris which caused extra expenses. No one ever called to try and rectify the situation I'm extremely disappointed.Initial Complaint

There is a house next door being flipped & Vine Disposal dumped a large dumpster on my car . The driver denied it but 2 neighbors came over who saw it , plus red paint on my car. I did do a police report but they are dragging their feet about fixing my car. They were suppose to put in on the yard .Business Response

We understand the frustration coming from their end. We aim to solve matters in a timely matter however in this instance this was out of our control. We passed a long the info to our insurance company and we were instructed by them to refer her to them if she continued to call. Once this was passed a long to them, there was not much we could do because we cannot control what another company does or how fast they move.

Breach of contract & inappropriate extra charge to my credit card On 2/5/2024 I signed a contract for a 20 yard dumpster for 14 days with 3 tons of C&D waste for $465. Delivery of 2/6 & picked up 2/20. Per the vendor my dumpster contained 2.48 tons (within contract). In order to get more money, **** decided to reclassify the content to MSW (1 ton) & is attempting to bill me an extra $187+ for 1.48 tons. I contacted the company & informed them of the content of my dumpster (please see email attached). I asked them of the listed items what is not C&D & I also asked for proof of anything in my dumpster that was NOT C&D. Their staff, ******* P sent me a heavily redacted delivery slip, showing the total weight. I pointed out that I was disputing the reason for the reclassification which dropped me down from 3 tons to 1 ton (not the weight). I also pointed out that I had contacted the the ********************** where the debris was taken and they confirmed to me that they charge a flat fee regardless of the type of garbage. At this point she told me that I misunderstood - they had taken it to another location and they had turned them away so they had to go to *************. I challenged her on that statement: based on the time they left my house (about 9:10) and the "time in" at ********************** per the delivery slip (9:26), there is no way they could have gone to another landfill and make it back to ********************** in 20 minutes. (I am a retired auditor - I was trained to catch inconsistencies like these). I told her they are changing their story to justify the overcharge.She told me the charge was not negotiable- but I was not trying to negotiate a discount or reduction. I wanted them to honor their contract for 3 tons of C&D OR provide proof of what they did not consider C&D. (If the other landfill is rejecting real C&D items, consider changing them!)I need Vine Disposal honor the original contract for 3 tons of C&D debris & cancel their extra charge.Business Response

These are invoices that were paid by me totaling to amount of $918, $499 for the dumpster $423 for overweight limit Which has been fabricated The contract states that the credit card is left open ended but theres not description of any fees detailed. Further, this 30 yard dumpster was hand filled by one person yard, debris, sticks, cardboard boxes, and small furniture items.The weight of this dumpster is ****** pounds equaling to about 10 tons The contract states that you are allotted 4 tons, which is included? Does not state included in what.. is this the weight of the dumpster which already exceeds the amount allotted 4tons or is 14 tons collective weight?Additionally I was sent what seems to be a doctored and redacted invoice from *******.P Representing Vine Disposal. Initially telling me that she did not have to send me anything its in the contract. With a copy of the ticket number, I contacted the Newton ************* to receive a copy of my proclaimed to be invoice that was non-redacted. The amount was different than what was charged the weight that was scaled is a different amount that was charged.But I repeat this dumpster was hand loaded by one person myself with a shovel and his impossible for this to have been overweight regardless of what was charged I should not have been charged and I believe that the ticket that was written is completely fabricated by buying Disposal not from ************* landfillBusiness Response

Aug 9, 2022 9:53:41 AM EDT $468.65 final day of your rental as: August 24, 2022 Todays date is Nov 18 which is 86 days yet they are billing me for 96 i asked to speak to the manager because they were over charging me the lady was extremely rude and when i asked to speak to the owner she refused to transfer me all locations are forwarded to this location and they have horrible customer service beware.
