I reenrolled into the Medical Billing and Coding program at Ashworth College on 01/16/2024. I was previously enrolled and had been given several extensions to finish the classes. I had been given the opportunity to take the pre-test for the **************** of Professional Coders (AAPC) only to find out that what I had studied at Ashworth College did not afford me enough education to take the pre-test. That is when I decided to re-enroll back into the course (Medical Billing and Coding) at Ashworth College and had to pay an extra $256.00 after I had paid full tuition for the first classes I took and that was over $1000.So I enrolled the second time and was put on a $35.00 payment plan only to find out that the classes would not be open for me until I paid the full turion. Now I have contacted Ashworth College 10 or more times through chat and was lied to every time. "You won't get full access to the all the classes until you pay the balance of $206.00." I paid the full tuition $206.00 on 02/8/2024 and now I am being told the I have to wait ***** hours to access all the CLASSES. Someone one needs to STOP Ashworth College. THRE ARE TOO MANY COMPLAINTS TO READ THEM ALL BUT ALL POINT TO THE LIES THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE TRAINED TO TELL. THE ONLY REASON THAT I AM GOING BACK IS BECAUSE I STATRED THERE AND THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND I WAS NOT GIVEN THE KNOWLEDGE NEEDED FOR ME TO SIT FOR THE CERTIFATION. If a student would like all material to be available to them at one time, they need to be paid in full and sign a waiver stating they would like to have all material opened at one time instead of progressing through the program one subject at a time. Once all requirements are met, we will start the process of releasing all courses. This can take 1-2 business days to process.
On February 8, ****, Ms. ********* was advised where to locate the waiver and was advised of the time frame it will take to receive and process.

As of January 19, ****, Ashworth College has not received a request to withdraw from the program from Ms. **** Per the enrollment agreement, ************ account was turned over to an outside collection agency due to defaulted payments.
As the account is still in an open status, the full price of the program was reported to collection agency. Once Ashworth College receives ************ required request to withdraw,we will close the account out according to the terms of the enrollment agreement that Ms. *** voluntarily signed. The account will remain in collections until Ms. *** settles her financial obligations. If Ms. *** hires an attorney, we can no longer assist her directly and she must have her attorney make all communications going forward.

Last year I applied into this college. I finished 1 semester then started another. I ended up enrolling in more courses at my university so had to put this learning on hold. Meanwhile, I had my card set on autopay for only $59 a month. Now im applying to grad school and tried to get my transcript when I noticed I all of a sudden owe minimum $916 to reinstate and unfreeze my account. This included a $345 collection fee.I want to continue my studies but no one is helping me. I tried calling and chatting online but no one can help me because it got sent to **** debt collection. But I was still told if I pay and make my account current u can do my courses.I am just agitated because I then contact **** and they have no recollection of this delinquency. I want Ashworth to work with me and either remove the $345 charge so I can pay my minimum balance to get my account active on 2/15/24.Or I would like to consolidate the whole amount (including $345) to my bill and pay it that way. I am not sure why auto pay wasnt working in the first place and wish I never stopped getting charged the $59 a month.I want to continue my studies now that I am graduating, to get a second degree. I am going to be a teacher in September and every 15 credits I earn will allow me to get a pay raise. I really hope this will be able to get fixed without having to go to collections as I am willing to pay once 2/15/2024 hits. Ive been enrolled with this school for almost two years now. I have been taking their classes for veterinary technician. I have finally completed enough courses that Im now required to take in person externships. Upon trying to get my externship site approved, I find out that Ashworth doesnt have my high school transcript on file!! Okay no worries, right?? Wrong!!!My high school has sent off my transcript 3 times. All three times Ashworth says its not my transcript and that its coming from a northwest ********** went to Kings ********** not *****************.Weve asked for a fax number and wont receive one.Weve put in tickets and no one calls back Or if they do, its another email to another person who doesnt respond back.I got so sick of not being able to talk to someone, that I stopped paying. Oh they call me now!!! And I tell them why Im not paying but they still dont help me. They just try to submit a ticket, where no one calls or suggests that I use the stupid email.Ive even gone as far as begging to let me have my high school mail my transcript. The *************************************** (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary ******************** and Activities (CVTEA) has determined that students in the Veterinary Technician AAS degree program must submit official high school transcripts, an official transcript of their GED, HiSET, TASC exam results, homeschooled student must provide documentation that confirms the students homeschool program is recognized by their school district, county or state, in order to verify proof of graduation. Other forms of documentation will not be accepted for this program.
The Transcripts that are received by Ashworth College on Ms. ****** behalf are not her transcripts. ************** would need to speak to her previous school and request they provide us with an official copy of her transcript. ************** will not be able to continue with her lessons until this is received.

I need school to update my course of completion status. When I have called the school I have been told to submit a ticket in the student portal. I do not always hear from the customer service online. Hello, I enrolled my daughter ****** ***** - in the online highschool at Ashworth College. We we told she would be give a full class load with plenty of online support from teachers. After about one month she only had one class assigned. It was a spanish class and it had no assignment and no nothing in english - we attempted to make appointment for support several time but never once did someone reach out to us. There is no support no admin to support the students. No teachers. No classes. The only people you can reach are the sales team selling the program. I realised after waiting over a month to figure this out and getting nowhere that I had to take my out of this fake school and start to figure out another rout for her education. It has not been an easy time. I took a leap of faith based on the description the school provided and trusted that my daughter would be enrolled in a legetamit education. We were not provided what we were sold and it cost us months of my daughters education. I was refunded part of the tution that I paid to the school. I am rejecting this response because: We did not have classes assigned - only one class with zero explanation and zero support. Access to academic support was attempted several times with no success. There is no way to reach admin. A lot of promises and descriptions of what is offered when a person calls to sign up. then you are essentially locked out. After months of trying to access her classes and support - we have had move her to another option. have had to unenroll ******.
I believe because the school failed to deliver what it said it was offering we need a full 100% refund. We lost time in my daughter's education and endured days and days of time and hardship while attempting to contact the school and get support. We trusted this program and we were ill used.

I am the college advisor for a student here in ****** who has enrolled with Ashworth College/James Madison High School for a physics course. For the past several weeks I have been trying to get a transcript/certificate of completion for her for this course, otherwise she may not graduate from our high school. I have called various phone numbers and written to several different Ashworth College email addresses with no response. I have asked for a registrar's phone number; none is available. Like many others who have complaints, the "admissions representatives," who are remarkably easy to reach, are remarkably unhelpful with questions about student records, and are unwilling or unable to provide direct phone numbers to administrative offices. (I even called the supposed "corporate office" for Ashworth College, and was put into an infinite loop.) My complaint is very similar to another I read on this website: "I *************************** has called James Madison high school on 11/20/2023, and asked for a transcript so i can use it at another college, well I had to call this number that a James madison high school rep has given me and i had to put in my phone number and a date and time for ******* to call me and since then, no one has called me, so i called james madison high school and told them what had happened and i still could not get my transcript and that the company had given me the run around, so i decided to file a complaint."Business Response
