I previously attended Ashworth College in 2020, and recently re-enrolled November 2023. The day that I re-enrolled I signed the enrollment agreement document and paid my deposit to begin working on my courses. I tried to log in to the student portal but all of the information being displayed was from my 2020 program, I assumed that the system needed some time to update - I waited a few days and never received any further communication from Ashworth and the student portal never changed.I reached out to Ashworth and they have asked me to provide my proof of payment and enrollment agreement - I have provided both multiple times and nothing has been resolved. It has been 1 month since I enrolled and customer service has been terrible. The rep who is messaging me in the ticket takes days to respond and never has an update for me and as of recently has completely stopped replying, I've called the admissions number multiple times and they gave me an email address to contact - I've contacted the email address multiple times and have yet to receive a response. I have set appointments and the Ashworth team member doesn't call multiple times.I can't access any of my course work, I've already paid my deposit and no one is willing to help, no one has a resolution, and communication is terrible.All I wanted was to begin my course work but instead I'm having to jump through hoops and take time out of my day to even get a hold of anyone just to be told someone else will be contacting me... this is ridiculous and unprofessional. They are asking me to pay $500+ of tuition fee even though I am not a current student of Ashworth College. I have cancelled the ********************* course before the 5 days of registering to this college and does not owe them anything. They said they reinstated it but it's without my permission. Ashworth College is making money of students who cancelled the course and kept harassing me to pay a huge amount of money even though there is not activity I have done for several months now. I have contacted them over the phone and e-mailed them that I am not their student and insists I owe them money. This is not a good school that is why I cancelled a course right away. I enrolled in this "college" and found out after less than a semester the credits are not transferrable to a 4-year university, hence making their degree useless. They should disclose this fact to students while enrolling. I cancelled and was charged a FULL semester, even though that was not in their terms. Since then, they will not stop hounding me. They sent me to collections, and I finally agreed to pay them to get them to leave me alone. I was making payments and suddenly the debt disappeared from my credit report. I started the property management program and several times they would not take my payment so I had to call. Now I tried to take my final exam and the online test would not submit my answers 1/2 way through and I filed many tickets towards the IT department and no one call me or emailed me. They just closed the tickets and di not ************ I am completely locked out and cannot finish my program and no one will give me a call back or even respond to me. I have not finished paying for the program but because no one will get in touch with me they will send it to collections without it being my fault. This program is terrible and teaches you nothing. After reviewing ************** account, on August 21, 2023, a representative reached out directly to ************** to let her know checking accounts cannot be applied as autopay. *******s must have either a debit or credit card on file for the autopay to pull. Any incurred late fees were waived as an act of good faith on the business side.
On November 6, 2023, ************** inquired about an issue with submitted her exam. A representative responded by November 7, 2023, advising the following below, Hello ********, thank you for contacting the school. I am seeing you were able to successfully submit this exam shortly after submitting this ticket. All questions were saved and scored, and a grade of 45% was earned on your Final Exam. This course will be complete once you submit your Career Investigation Project and receive a grade.

They never once reached out and I never once received any email from what they are saying in their response. It was myself who has always called and reached out to them. I opened up several tickets regarding their website and the connection issues and they never once reached out to me. They always closed the ticket before I could get a response to anything . As far as my final exam goes the test stopped working at question 11 and would not take any clicked answers from me !!!!! They are lying and challenge the responses emails they sent to me and phone calls . They said regarding my ******** acct that they had someone who was ******** on their staff that could fix it then were suppose to reach out and never once did . They are lying and trying to cover up the lack of business ability they have. I just want a refund and move on from this. I am rejecting this response because: they constantly say the same response there is nothing else to discuss I wil no longer pay for this. Ther eis zero shadowing as I have ** many a ticket in and they cannot fix what I see on my end. I do not want to discuss anything with them without a witness from the BBB as they will be rude and uncooperative as they have been since the get go. Either one of 2 things I get this course cancelled anf do not pay or I jsut no longer and get a full refund from them form what I already paid. They can decide whta they want to do. I have submitted tickets on my student portal to the customer service department. ******************** has a new system to where if you need to communicate about your education/degree that you have to submit a ticket in the student portal. I had tried to speak with the customer service department by calling ********************** however I was informed that they only handle payments. My degree is already paid in full. I want my Bachelor's degree in *********************** to be mailed out to the mailing address on file with the school. The same address that I have provided to the BBB of Georgia. I believe this school is a scam. I was a student for one day and called and canceled. I spoke with representatives and they said my balance was paid and I had no balance left. Then I get a letter in the mail saying I owe ****** dollars. So I call and they give me no direct answers. I asked how I go from ****** balance for a school online I only attended for about 1 hour. They said I had no balance. Today I get a letter from collections saying I owe ****** on my credit report. How does this happen???? As stated in the enrollment agreement, For any default not cleared within 15 days of notification of non-payment, Ashworth College reserves the right to terminate the student's enrollment and collect the entire program obligation that would be due, in accordance with the institution's refund policy, payable immediately, plus any collection or attorney's fees.

On May 15, 2023, ******************** received a notice from Ashworth College advising that the program he is enrolled into is no longer accepting new enrollments. The letter specifically advises students that they still have the full 12 months from the date of their enrollment to complete the program. As we are unable to provide additional extensions, Ashworth College has provided an option to transfer to its partner school at a no-cost transfer.
The following statement is included in the letter that was provided.
Ashworth College expects that all students can complete their program within their remaining study time. However, to keep you on track to accomplish your goals,we'd like to offer you a no-cost transfer to the Automotive Repair Technician Program at our partner school, *****************. Any funds already paid to Ashworth College along with a significant portion of your academic work may be applied to your new ***************** program.

I felt betrayed, within one (1) month of enrolment, Ashworth sent me this Letter to transfer to ***********, The reason why i enrolled with Ashworth was because it states on its website as ASHWORTH "COLLEGE" and not ***************** where teens are attending high school. You have the obligation to inform students that you no longer offer Automotive Technician Program at Ashworth before proceeding with admission.
2. Immediately after receiving this letter, i sent you an email that i would like to withdraw from this school as i have only completed 8% of the Automotive Technician Program i enrolled in. and the next thing you did was bombarding me with calls asking me to make payments. Kindly go through the CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY in ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT that i signed which states:
V. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Students may cancel or withdraw in any manner, but it is recommended that they do so in writing.If Student Withdraws Amount Student Owes Within 5 Calendar days of enrollment/signing of this Agreement $0 (100% Refund)
After 5 Calendar days :If the student has not submitted any lessons Non-Refundable Fees + Registration
If the student has submitted at least one ******* up to and including 10% of the lessons Non-Refundable Fees + Registration Fees + 10% of Tuition
