      My wife and I had Abby Iron Doors come in and redo our Iron Door that had peeling issues. We didn't buy the Door from them but they reassured us they could do the work. They sent out a technician, after calling them numerous times to get a date. They cancelled a few times then made a excuse that the weather was getting to cold so we had to wait to the Spring. After it was finally repaired, it started peeling again after 3 months which lead to another technician to come out and repair it again. This lasted only a few weeks so for the third time we are trying to get them back to repair it. The communication is 'Awful' at this company, amazing they are still in business. I've contact a lawyer to hopefully get some answers form the business. I feel terrible for the folks who purchased a door thru them. Whatever you do, don't do business with this company!!!!!

      Run! Absolute nightmare! Custom door arrived with the wrong lock and handle set. After bringing this to their attention. Abby Iron Doors sent out the correct handle set, which I originally had paid an additional $550 for. Because Abby ********************** had already drilled the doors for the first set installed by them, I was left with multiple holes in my new door. ****'s solution was to send me out plastic plugs for the holes... yes that was going to look really nice on my brand-new custom door. 4 weeks after installation, the door failed. The paint cracked off the front of the two doors at the seams around the windows. I immediately contacted Abby **********************. They told me that they would send someone out to fix the problem. Two years later and dozens of emails and call, some one shows up to repair the door. The repair person had no idea what he was doing or just didn't care. He would sand the door and paint over the sanding dust. Then, sand above that area with all of the dust falling on to the wet paint. It was the worst paint job I have ever seen not to mention, it wasn't even close to the color of the rest of the door or frame. 4 days later... the paint cracked off at the seams again. After struggling with these folks for another year, the owner offered me $400 to pay someone to fix it. ******* move, the contract states that if outside repair is done and they have not approved the vendor the warranty is void. Abby ********************** told me that I'm on my own to get this fixed. Despite the warranty issue I attempted numerous times to find someone to repair the door. No one was willing to take on the project. 4.5 years later, dozens of emails and phone calls to the service manager and the owner (most never responded to) the service manager told me that she was sorry but the owner will not do anything for me... it is out of her hands. So sorry I dint see these other reviews before I purchased.

      My husband and I paid over $12k for a door from Abby iron doors because they advertised instock doors with fast delivery. We needed an entrance door for our new home quickly and we were told shipment would be 2-3 weeks. We also drove 2 hours to the warehouse in ******* ******* to see their supply and met **** who sold us our door. We paid in full and scheduled the installation for three weeks out. Two days prior to installation I called to confirm delivery with was still on with ********* the receptionist in Georgia. The day before our installation we received a phone call to reschedule the installation date. We immediately said this is unacceptable. Next day the door was deliveredit was the wrong door! We refused it and sent it back although the installers tried to convince us to keep. They also said this company does not return calls and has had many upset customers in the past.. They were right! We called corporate office and the receptionist ********* was clueless and had no answers. We also called ****, left two messages and she never returned our calls either. Many emails were sent regarding information on where our door was. Finally over 1 week later ********* reached out via text with a new schedule date for another month out. This was completely unacceptable. Come to find out these doors are made in ***** and they convince you they have in stock doors when they dont. There did not seem to be an urgency to solve the issue either. After reading terrible reviews on BBB (they have an F rating) we wouldve never done business with them. Days later after sending an email stating we wanted a refund I received a phone call from ******* from the corporate office in ATL wanting to clarify a few things regarding what happened. I quickly explained to her again as I did in the previous emails and that we want our money back. Weeks later, we have not received our refund and its in a dispute. Terrible company.Trust all the previous reviews about them!

      Paid almost $19k for a set of hurricane resistant doors. No issues with the Chinese manufacturer, doors are well constructed. However, the customer service and the installation subcontractors are the worst. Our sales representative, Tara, from the Florida team, is not an honest person. Tara got her commission, then, simply disappeared even after speaking with her about our horrible situation with the installation team, Tara has never been involved and refuses to help. Deborah, from the Georgia team is supposely in charge of the customer service department.
      After one conversation, Deborah promised to get the installation team back to the house to finish the trim and install the remaining parts of the doors. Almost two months later, l'm yet to have the installation complete. Felix is the installation general contractor, he is the worst. Felix subcontracted the installation process to individuals with limited construction experience. I had to provide my tools and helped them with the installation process. By the way, Felix still yet to show up to the incomplete installation. I'm still waiting for whoever to call to finish the installation. Some of the knobs were installed but l'm still waiting for eight more knobs to be installed since these knobs are not aligning properly. I will never use this company again. Definitely, please, if you are in Florida, Tara is not to be trusted.
