      We went to Tidal Wave on September 21, 2024 for a simple car wash. Without our consent, they signed us up for a monthly wash. We are being charged $49.97/month for a wash that is not happening. We contacted our credit card and they said they could do nothing about it since it is on "AutoPay". We explained that we never agreed to this. Unfortunately we had to cancel our credit card and now I am out almost $300.

      On 4/4 I went car wash ( I have used car wash for 5 years) A young lady greeted me and ask which wash did I want I said 21.00 wash . She then said if I pay 7 more dollars I can wash my car for 30 days at no extra charge . I said ok . I asked before I gave her my credit card . This is not a membership of any kind is it ? Her reply was no Siri this is a one time charge . She saw I was handicapped and on oxygen so she said I will be glad to hep you . Handed her credit card . She then asked for my phone number . I said why do you need my number . She replied it is strictly for the purpose of being able to bring your information up if you come back in the 30day if the camera dose not pick up your tag we would be able to pull up your info by your number . went home Came back on 22 nd of April and got wash before I played golf . On April 5 th I noticed charge on my card for 27.00 on 5/4 . I called manager at ********* location . I told him everything that was said . He canceled a membership ( his words ) but said I could not have a refund for 27.00 . He said I have a phone contact were we sent you a text welcome pagage . I said you may have sent it but I did not get it . He talked down to me and said you will not get no refund . I said oh yes I will.one way or the other I will get my 27 dollars . Hung up because this kid is not bright . They committed fraud and theft . Just as some one stole my number and used it, no difference Just the same . I looked back and saw were he sent a text on 4/4 that I did not open till today . All law enforcement says that elderly should not open any text if not from you contacts . This is a scam by this company . I read many complaints just like mine . I retired at 41 . II owned very successful body shop I sold . Have appointment with DA office at 11:00 am today . Theve got to be stopped , they are praying on the elderly, .think how many people just let them keep money .That’s why Mach 1 sti1 teaches these young Mangers how to do this !!

      I used Tidal Wave Auto Spa in ******** ** January 2024 I was unaware that my card would be charged each month for this service I have not used this car wash since January 2024. My card has been charged $34.97 each month since.

      They stole my credit card information. I use her service for one month and then I changed my credit card. They were not given information from me on my new credit card information and somehow they got a hold of it and started charging me. I have no idea how they stole my information. I don’t know how they got my new credit card information. I did not use it. I stopped using their service and somehow they ended up with my new credit card information and started billing me. I cannot contact them. They do not have a direct contact where I can call because they will not answer the phone. I have sent a complaint via their website and did not hear any thing from anybody. They need to be shut down somehow they’re stealing information from their clients.

      On approx February 10, 2025 i attempted to downgrade my membership to *** *** using their website. In March, the company continued to withdraw the full funds ($64) from my checking account. I went back to the website to cancel my membership. Today, the company withdrew ANOTHER $64. I called the company. The rep refused to cancel the membership and would only issue a partial refund. She issued a refund for the membership difference.

      Tidal Wave is new to ******, ** and the business was trying to build up their clientele. I was one of the cars who went by for a free carwash they were offering first day open and when my turn came for the wash, a tidal wave employee was advertising carwashes at a certain price. Sounded good but when I came back again and the price was too high for my liking I just didn't go back again.
      However, Feb 26, 2025 I was debited for a carwash while I was at work!!! I emailed the company to complain and they gave me a claim number, said someone would contact me and that was it! NOBODY CALLED AND NO ONE WOULD ANSWER ME AGAIN. I was charged $25.71 and I wish to get my money back.

      I requested to cancel my subscription (Support ticket #*****) and they will not cancel it. Cannot get in touch with anyone. Please end the autopay and refund the three months that I have still paid after requesting to cancel ($134.91).

      I do not remember the first date, the company informed me it was 8/22/24. I came to the business for a car wash. There is video of me speaking to an employee and paying, you can see her writing the expiration date on the scan strip. The scan strip is placed on my dash. This was a one month special they were running if I remember correctly. I went through the car wash a few times with the scanner. After the month expired, I went through and paid for a single wash, again, video you can see from the video there is not a scan strip nor do they put a scan strip in the window ...... Therefore PROVING it is a one time wash.

      I have not returned since that time. However, they have been taking out monthly fees since that time. They are refusing to reimburse me.

      I am not asking to be reimbursed for the first purchase as it was a legitimate charge. The last visit I am happy to pay for the single wash I received. HOWEVER, I am not ok with the deceptive/fraudulent changes that have occured monthly there after.

      I am owed 34.97 x 6 months for a total of $209.82

      The company can send you the video from 9/5/24 as that will show there is no scan strip in the windshield.

      I purchased a car wash in **** and was automatically enrolled into a monthly membership. I called twice to cancel and assumed the cancellation occurred. Was then billed again in *******, I called again to cancel and assumed it was canceled. It was not , I called my bank and ordered a new card to stop the payments. I continued to pay monthly without my knowledge. The company knows this and stated there is nothing they can do to refund my money
