On 02/06/2012 Hawaii's BBB challenged this company's advertisements located on their website www.arasysperfector.com. Website claims that their products Improve intelligence, keep your skin youthful and burn fat & gain muscle without working out.
BBB Code of advertising; basic principals, Para 19 states:
"Claimed Results
Claims as to energy savings, performance, safety, efficacy, results, etc. which will be obtained by or realized from a particular product or service should be based on recent and competent scientific, engineering or other objective data."
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) further stipulates, under the Dietary Supplements, Health & Education Act (DSHEA) that under FTC law, and advertiser is equally responsible for the accuracy of claims suggested OR implied by the ad.
Type of Product: Products related to consumer health or safety require a relatively high level of substantiation.
While the company did respond to the ad challenge with a couple of clinical studies; the company did not adequately substantiate the claims. Hawaii's BBB closed the ad challenge "failed to substantiate" on 06/06/2012.
