Company made an estimate for work and asked for half money up front. Company has not done even 50% of job per estimate and is seeking additional funds and deemed the project as complete. Work is unsatisfactory and incomplete. Managers, contractors and owners have lied and made excuses throughout the job over a course of 4 months. I want to be reimbursed for the work that wasn't done and the materials that were not purchased nor used in my home.

I will address each false claim in order below:
Company made an estimate for work and asked for half money up front.
The complainant had already filed an insurance claim for damages.  As we are experienced and well-respected members of the restoration trade, we created a supplement to the original claim in order to more fully cover the repairs needed.  We increased the amount of the claim by 391% in good faith before any contract was executed or money paid. As is standard practice in any construction project, a material deposit was collected after the execution of the contract more than 40 days later due to the complainants constant delays and lack of urgency.
Company has not done even 50% of the job per estimate and is seeking additional funds and the project as complete.
As our reputation indicates, we strive to make customers happy even after they have demonstrated their true intentions and character.  This job is no exception.  After completing every single line item on the insurance scope of work that the complainant did not contractually remove, the complainant instructed us to not return to the job site and that she was having her lawyer go over it.  This was not unexpected as the complainant had demonstrated her true character and propensity for lies throughout the project.
    Work is unsatisfactory and incomplete.
Work has been performed in a satisfactory manner and the incomplete items were omitted from the scope contractually at the request of the complainant.  The cleaning of the carpet did not yield the results anyone hoped for, but was easily explained after the fact by the evidence of the childrens messiness and the dogs propensity for urinating and defecating in the affected area of the jobsite.
Managers, contractors and owners have lied and made excuses throughout the job over a course of 4 months.
No one from this company has lied to the complainant about anything, nor has anyone made excuses.  This will become readily apparent after the release of supporting documents once the legal proceedings are concluded.
I want to be reimbursed for the work that wasnt done and the materials that were not purchased nor used in my home.
There will be no reimbursement of any kind.  Due to the complainants constant absurd requests, this project was a loss.
In conclusion, the complainants true motives, morals, and character became clear once the work was performed.  Upon advice of counsel, investigative services were retained to research if this type of behavior was typical for the complainant.  It is.  The complainant has done this type of thing many times before to other honest, hardworking people.  I intend to put a stop to it.  Hence, legal remedies are currently underway to not only recoup costs, but to also recoup payment for the slanderous and libelous claims that have been made.

This reply portal does not allow the upload of the screenshots of communications from the complainant wherein she talks about there only being a punchlist of minor items remaining for touch up as well as a later text message where she asks us to not return to perform said punchlist.  I will make these documents available to anyone upon request.
