  I do not recommend R3. Trying to get this company to respond and repair their mistakes is almost impossible. All I keep getting is we are waiting for production and we will give you a call back with no call back. Been waiting over a month now

  I definitely recommend R3! They identified our hail damage to our roof and siding and filed a claim immediately following their inspection. I was really impressed with how they worked with our insurance company to get them to approve the claim. The insurance company resisted, but our consultant kept providing them information. This took months, but the R3 consultant was able to get the insurance company to honor the claim. The actual work was done quickly and the results look great!

  Had a great experience with R3, their team and crew during a large scale roofing and gutter replacement project. They were prompt, professional and did great work. We have been through a lot of large scale replacement projects such as this, but this was our first with R3. The experience was great and we anticipate we'll be using them again in the future.

  R3 Roofing & Exteriors appeared shortly after the derecho of 8/2020. They waited, while meanwhile tarping and doing small jobs, until our insurance award finally came in in September, 2022. At that point they quickly went to work and efficiently completed siding 16 buildings & some roofing work by early December! As President of a Condo Association, communicating & working with their foreman was a pleasure.

  I am a contractor who has a client in Coal Valley. Myself and Travelers Insurance inspected the house roof and found Zero Damage. This company came after a sales guy Maximalino Rocha. He caused damage to the roof and chalked it up where he created damages.
  Travelers insurance has photographs of no damage on the slopes of the roof. The owner refuses to do anything but say “I do not have any employees, and it wasn’t me on the roof” and this company is something to BEWARE of!
  Don’t let them on your home!

  Do NOT use R3 Roofing. The communication is absolutely atrocious and there is no sense of urgency. After signing with them (by the way, never sign anything, more to come on that), they strung me along for over seven weeks with promises of completing the roof. After seven weeks, we still never had an estimated completion date. Throughout this time, they took payment for half of the insurance money to get the project on the list. After another two weeks of empty promises, we said we wanted to cancel. FINALLY, now they start returning our calls/texts/emails. What a shock! They claimed that, in the agreement, they are entitled to 25% of the project fee for consulting and liquidation costs (reminder to never sign anything). R3 stated they are going to keep 25% for services such as talking to the insurance company and buying supplies. I stopped her immediately and said I can prove they never performed any consulting services with my insurance company (my insurance rep told me so). They also admitted previously that they never bought any supplies. I said it is very predatory for you to gather signatures and checks with no intention of ever performing the services. I had 40 pages of documentation where they did not reply over 15 times to our inquiries. I said I had no problem letting a judge decide whether or not they are entitled to the fee despite their negligence. Two days later, they called back and said they would refund my whole amount. All in all, after eight weeks of empty promises, paying them over half the project cost, and fighting for a refund, this experience warrants a 0-star review. Save yourself the time and stress by never using R3 Roofing.Also, after cancellation, I had a new roof in 10 days with someone else. There are much better options out there than waiting 8-10 weeks for a roof and potentially losing 25% of the project cost.

  ******, we are sorry to hear about your negative experience.  Unfortunately, timelines are out of our control at times as many contractors can attest to in this day and age.  The initial product that you chose to install was in short supply and ultimately ceased to be manufactured or distributed by ***** Corning due to supply chain issues.  Both ***** Corning and *** Supply can attest to this.  Unfortunately, you were not the only customer that was affected by these supply chain issues and miscommunication from manufacturer to distributor to contractor.  While the vast majority of our customers chose to go with a different roofing color and/or brand of shingle, in this case, the supply chain issues did snowball and ultimately result in the full refund of your project as you requested.  We are sorry we could not do more to meet your needs but at this time we believe we have done all that is in our power to make the situation right.
