Started consigning with Pearl Place Partners May 3, 2023 with numerous items at different dates. After 60 days, unsold items are to be returned to the consigner. In the first items consigned, several items were mistakenly not returned. Pearl Place Partners did reimburese me for the mistake. (6) other items that were to be returned went missing and I was told they would be placed on the "Look For List". I have also looked for these items numerous times and have inquired about them numerous times. Then in December, (3) other items came up missing that Pearl Place Partners said were returned to me. After emailing Pearl Place Partners several times, they found those items. The (6) items are still missing. They say they are not contractually responsible for lost or stolen items, but they should show some type of responsibility, especially when these (6) items were in that same time frame when they made a mistake and not returning the items.

I am rejecting this response because:

    ****,

There seems to be some truth stretching. At the beginning of consigning with Pearl Place Partners, I consigned numerous items on several different days in the beginning of May, ****. 5/3, 5/6 and 5/8. The 5/3 had a out date of 7/2, 5/6 with a out date of 7/5 and the 5/8 had a out date of 7/7. Instead of picking up these consigned items on 3 different days, starting on 7/2, I called and asked if I could come on 7/7 and pickup all these items at once. This was oked by Pearl Partners. I did go to Pearl Partners on 7/7 and spent hours looking for items. Numerous items I could not find. You have to look for your consigner # on tags within the store with little help from the staff in locating your items. In the beginning I did not know that it would be that tough to find your unsold items. I was told by Pearl Partners that they would put the items on the "Look For List", they would call me when found and they would not donate my unsold items. I also went back on 7/10 and spent some time looking for items. Within that next week Pearl called me and told me that some of the items were found. I went to Pearl Partners on 7/17 and picked up those items. The (6) items that are still missing are from this early consigning period 5/3, 5/6 and 5/8.

As to the missing items (Scarfs) in December, that **** said "He inadvertently left the bag here". I was never given the bag of Scarfs. Only after I emailed Pearl Partner twice and after the December 5, 2023 email did they acknowledge they had the Scarfs.

This complaint is not about the small money amount, but about treatment of consigners and hoping this complaint might help others.

    Sincerely,
