If I could give this company a ZERO rating, I would! I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. I was charged for a service I was not aware I was signing up for, and when I reached out to resolve the issue, I was met with unprofessionalism and a complete lack of willingness to work toward a solution. The communication I receivedespecially from the CEOwas dismissive and rude, offering no real explanation or ***************** someone affiliated with Travel Leaders, a network of over ***** travel agencies and more than ****** advisors across *************, Ive worked with a wide range of vendors and companies in the travel industry. I can say with confidence that this company is not one I would recommend. Transparency and customer service are essential, and unfortunately, both were severely lacking ******* leaving this review to help others make an informed decision. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this company.

    Ah yes, ******* ****** of 715 Travel in **********

Far be it from me to cast aspersions on anyone's sanity or lack thereof, so I will just lay out the facts and let you draw your own conclusion.

To become a CruiseCompete member-agent, a travel agent has to sign a contract on our site requiring them to respond to ****************************** their first 90 days or pay a $500 membership fee and submit their credit card information online.  We tell agents this on the summary page before sign-up (*********************************************************), in paragraph 3 of the agreement called "Membership Fees" (where the term is in bold type), and again in the e-mail the agent receives with their password and login instructions, where this requirement is again written in ALL CAPs to make sure no one misses it.  We have had this part of more than ***** agreements with agencies over the past 20+ years, and Ms. ****** of 715 Travel is the first to complain.

After signing the agreement, entering her credit card information, and filling out a couple of pages of information on our web site, Ms. ****** did not meet her quote minimum in 90 days and was charged the membership fee she had agreed to.

She called, very angry, and first claimed that someone else must have signed up for the service because she had no recollection of it.  When confronted with the above facts, that someone would have needed to have access to both her credit card information and be able to log into her e-mail account to get the password, she responded (by e-mail):

"I must have signed this, even though I do not remember doing so."

She then proceeded to complain that it was somehow our fault that she did this, stating:

"Apparently, I signed up for something without being made fully aware (a sneaky tacticbold move!)."

despite the fact that the details of our program that she is complaining about were presented to her prominently before she signed up, in the legally-binding contract she signed, and in an e-mail that she had to have read after this to in order to get her account password.

When I asked ********* what else she would have us do (besides telling them three times) to make agents aware of the details program, she had no response.

There are definitely some things I would strongly caution one from doing, but again I will leave it to you, the reader, to draw your own conclusions.

On a completely unrelated note that has absolutely nothing to do with Ms. ****** of 715 Travel, be careful out there: the world is full of people who are completely insane.

I have used CruiseCompete on number of occasions and received good service with competitive pricing from this agency. There were no problems associated with booking. I am planning to use the services of the company again for future cruise bookings.
