    ***** was on time, explained the different options, checked the electrical box and changed out 8 smoke detectors in two hours. Soft spoken, friendly, efficient and tidy. He also explained the others services you offer. A very nice young man!!

    Tough review for Lazer. I called because a toilet tank wasn't filling beyone a certain point and I had the technician take a look at a garbage disposal in our basement kitchenette that was locked up.
    On both fronts I was given a BIG estimate. My garbage disposal motor was totally fried and I needed to replace so much in my toilet that he said I may just go with a new toilet. The estimate on the toilet was $510 for a new fill valvle and seal or just over $700 for a new toilet.
    I thanked him and told him I would get a second opinion because $510 for some plastic pieces and rubber rings seemed crazy to me.
    This morning I got on Youtube and found two videos. One told me that if my garbage disposal was siezed up that there is a spot on the bottom of the disposal that fits an allen wrench. Often it just takes a couple turns back and forth with the allen wrench and you are good to go. It worked. So in 5 minutes I fixed my Insinkerator that was "totally fried"
    The second video sent me to Menards to get a complete kit for my toilet for $28. In one hour I replaced everything in my toilet tank and its as good as new.

    Tough to trust an estimate from Lazer!!!
