      Our son received care at Great River Oral surgery as dictated by our insurance company on 6/27/24. My insurance company states I have a $30 copay for this visit. The insurance company *********** blue shield) said "something was voided inappropriately, and the insurance company assured me they were working with great river oral surgery to rectify the situation. We received bills we believed to be incorrect starting 08/2024. The billed amount was $120, above the $30 expected copayment. I contacted my insurance company and was told the insurance company was working with great River Oral surgery to rectify the issue. I continued to receive bills I believed were incorrect monthly. I was contacted via phone by great river oral surgery in February 2024. During that conversation. I informed Great river oral surgery I believed the charges were incorrect, that I had been in contact with my insurance company *********** blue shield), and they should be working with insurance company to resolve the incorrect bill. At that time, Great river oral surgery acknowledged the $120 bills were incorrect, and stated my insurance copayment should be $30. I stated I will happily pay my $30 copay when I receive a correct bill, and I encouraged Great river oral surgery business office to continue working with my insurance to rectify the insurance payments until they were correct. I received two statements (one dated 2/19/24, the other dated 3/20/24) each of which indicating I owed $72. Both of these statements are still not correct, as I have a $30 copay. My insurance company again states "a payment was voided inappropriately". On 3/28/24, less than 6 weeks after receiving an updated (still incorrect) statement from great river oral surgery, I received a letter with statement date 3/25/24 from ************, *** stating my account is delinquent and to remit payment. I talked to Great River oral surgery on 3/28/24. They stated I needed to pay $72 before 4/21/24 or be turned to collections.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. After several hours of phone calls by me to coordinating insurance reimbursement between Great River Oral surgery business professionals and my insurance company, and after being contacted by a collection agency at the request of Great River oral surgery after their mistake, the issue has been resolved.

      yes so i paid $113.70 and now being asked to pay $41.10 for tooth extraction although this visit was last month and i feel that the business might be milking me for money. I want refund for this or an explanation of why this funds is being given to me and also why a month later. I am of low income and afraid this might be a predatory charge thank you
