    I contacted them about buying a car over two months ago, 1st by phone, I told them I wanted to pay with credit card (instead of spending every last dime of savings My mother, & I had... yes I said those words), He said it'd cost 3.5-10 percent more to use debit, or credit cards (depending on the card), so I looked for other cars for about a week, contacted Him saying I'd get a cashier's check (which is what He wanted), & purchase the car, He said once He had the check, He'd send the paper work (yes he tried to pull that!), I said not without paperwork, so He E-mailed Me copies, & postal mailed them for Me to sign, ALL the while in E-mails/texts claiming EVERYTHING was great with the car, except one nickle sized place the clearcoat was coming off of the front bumper, even said: He told Me that because He wanted to be honest... When the car FINALLY got here a month later, after Him making many excuses, usually blaming His transport shipper, It has a LOT of things wrong with it, has been obviously wrecked/rebuilt (He kept saying "it's never been wrecked", it's the BEST/cleanest 13k C=30yr old Camaro on the market", etc.), I still have most'a His texts, & E-mails. When I E-mailed Him about all the problems, He calls "ME" a liar, says it didn't have those when it left here (including a chip in the driver's side tempered glass, that I found in HIS own ad pic of the car, he claimed wasn't there), He finally said about 3 weeks ago He'd send a check for $300.00 to help pay so I could get it inspected/licensed, & guess what? The check never came. It's cost Me 100s I don't have (on credit cards), & still will cost more to get it inspected/licensed, so at the VERY least, I want the $300.00 He promised to send... (I still have the E-mail he said it in), I also want You guys to make this public, &/OR give Him a bad BBB rating, so other people who check with You, won't get conned by this disreputable business!

    I sent the check in the mail on 10-26-2024. I told him I dont like taking payment for vehicles with a credit card because they charge me 3.5% and said he would have to pay the additional credit card fees if he chose that method. I never said anything higher than 3.5%. I told him I would send the title once the check cleared. I sent him paperwork before I got his check and we both overnighted the paperwork to each other. I told him the car was in very good shape for a 30 year old car. The CARFAX shows no accidents, was a 1 owner, and a clean title so it was never "rebuilt". I told him many of those 90s GM cars had clearcoat issues and disclosed that to him. I was upfront with him and told him I dont have control over when the transporter could deliver the car and texted him several updates about the transporters status on when he was picking it up, when he did pick it up, and when he planned on being down there. I made 0 excuses and that had nothing to do with me. I didnt call him a liar. I was respectful in every email we exchanged.

     So I didn't READ the date He said to You guys He sent the check, because it'd already BEEN over 3 weeks since He'd said He'd send the check (The screenshot of the E-mail I sent You was sent by Him Oct 5th saying He'd send a check), He didn't in fact even SEND the check until Oct 24th, three weeks, + a day later, AFTER You 1st contacted Him, He was never planning to send it until He knew the BBB was involved, ANYHOW I got the check yesterday evening in the mail, as far as I'm concerned, You can't make juice from a turnip, & I'd have to seek legal help to get anything else from Him, so You may close this case, HOWEVER:... whatever means You give people bad BBB rating by, You should know that everything He told You is either an embellishment, or outright lie, & everything I said, PLUS more stuff was/is wrong with the car He said was almost flawless. He doesn't deserve to have a business with which to con people, but since He does, at the very least He deserves a poor BBB rating. Thanks for Your help in this matter.
