    On 12/4/2024, I won an item (Lot 152) from the **** ***** ************** Online Auction conducted by All Auctions ***** of ********, **. This business refused to reimburse my shipping after they improperly packed very breakable items (porcelain tea set). They used too small a box, inadequate bubble wrap, and worst of all, a spray foam (like house insulation) that expanded and hardened, crushing my items. This foam was supposed to be sprayed just in the corners of the box, but they sprayed it all through the box. When it expanded and hardened, it crushed the porcelain. Many tiny shards were embedded into the hardened foam, so that the pieces are not repairable. Furthermore, they refused to reimburse the Buyers Premium (the 15% fee the auctioneer adds on the top of the cost of the item) - they kept the fee for an item they destroyed. They reimbursed for the item ONLY, but not the shipping (which was MORE than the item) or the Buyers Premium. I was charged a total of $50.11 for this item, which was $25.00 for the item and associated fees plus $25.11 shipping. I was reimbursed $21.00. Therefore, I am requesting refund of $29.11 ($50.11 minus the $21.00 they reimbursed). We have emailed numerous times, and my last message about the Buyer's Premium was unanswered - email chain attached.

    All Auctions **** dispute response to ****** ******.
        ****** 1st time bidder ever to our company, online only, for the **** ***** estate auction.  This auction was all antiques and glass. ****** purchased a 4 piece porcelain tea set for $21, requested shipping. We charged her card $21 for the item and $3.15 for **.  Called and talked with ****** about the near zero chance it had to make it to PA without damage and that we would do our best to pack it for the trip. She agreed on the phone that she wanted the risk and was worth the try.  Told her it would be around 30$ to ship it. She also agreed to the charge! We charged her card again. Packaged it and shipped it!  We sent 84 other packages full of delicate glass all over the country that same week! ****** is the only 1 that had items arrive broke.  Every other customer got the same call and agreed to the same terms as ******.  The terms are very clear for every auction. We have zero duty to respond at all to individual claims of chance.  We returned her purchase price of $21. We will not return the labor or the ** of $29 she agreed to those risks on the phone after the auction and also in writing when she signed up to bid at the auction.   We returned her purchase price!  We do not get to go to the seller and ask for that same amount back!  The cost of doing business.  Good Day!
