    I am a tenant at ************************, Apartment, and I am filing a complaint against my apartment complex regarding an excessive maintenance charge. On May 15, 2025, I received a **** for 6 hours of labor related to a maintenance visit, despite the work in my unit taking no more than 30 minutes. Only one maintenance worker was present, and the tasks performed included replacing a fridge light, re-securing a small piece of baseboard with two nails, and installing a standard-sized door that did not require on-site measurements or **************** response to my inquiry, management justified the charge by citing behind-the-scenes labor, such as procuring parts and coordinating labor, but offered no specific itemized breakdown. I expressed that the scope of work did not align with six hours of labor and requested clarification and reconsideration. They ultimately refused to adjust the charge, stating it would remain unchanged.This lack of transparency and unwillingness to fairly itemize or reassess the **** feels unreasonable.

    My son and four other boys live at *******************************************. I pay the rent. They have had no air conditioning all summer and the windows are stuck shut. We have put in over ten on-line maintenance requests. Nobody has answered. We have called and left messages over 15 times. No body answers. We have called the emergency line. Nobody answers. We left messages there. Nobody responds. We would like the air conditioner and furnace fixed as well as other small repairs asap.
