ICCU does their best to help people. They have certain regulations and risk factors they have to work in, but they try to do the most they can for people. I've visited a few branches and have always been treated kindly and with good, fast service. The employees always seem to have fun together and to be positive, upbeat, and knowledgeable to the members!Idaho Central Credit Union

On May 31, 2023 we went into ICCU to open a CD for 5% annual APY interest. We saw it advertised on their website and it was listed as the rate on their reader board in the credit union. When we opened the CD account we commented to the banker that 5% is a great rate. She said nothing about the interest rate being different, at ****%. This rate was not posted or discussed with us. When we noticed this percent discrepancy , while thinking about adding to that CD, on June 29, we went back to the credit union and asked about why we did not get the 5% rate. We were told that the rate was **** on May 31 and did not change until June 1. Basically, **** implied that it was not possible that we saw the 5% rate in the credit union or on line, because it was not yet in effect. We both saw the 5% rate on line and in the credit union and nothing on the screen said that it was in effect starting June 1. **** also indicated that the promo cd rates only apply if a person is renewing a cd, even though the website invites a person to open a cd at the promo rates. We see this as bait and switch, and when ICCU was called on it, they refuted it and refused to correct their mistake.Idaho Central Credit Union

As someone who use to work there, they are a terrible credit union. Not only have I personally see them bounce from one idea to another confusing their workers, they give their workers gifts and lie to them to keep them happy. They tell their workers what they want to hear but if you aren't Mormon and/or drink their Kool-Aid, your as good as gone as soon as they can get rid of you. Just see why they are always hiring but yet are also the "Best" place in Idaho to work at... if they were that good, they wouldn't be hiring all the time.Idaho Central Credit Union

They have a tendency to change their deposit policy nearly weekly. When asked about it, they become extremely noncompliant, argumentative and unprofessional. They are entirely condescending to customers and give you the attitude that they dont want your business just your money.Idaho Central Credit Union

Went for a car loan for car **** The loan officer was very rude and demeaning. I was also told to go to ********** because that's "their" preferred dealer. Also applied for a starter Credit Card. I was told I could not get one because my score was to low. It's not. They check my credit 4 times without my approval or application. I seriously would suggest a better financial institution. ICCU espically the *************************** had been nothing but rude to me.Idaho Central Credit Union

Definitely not a a credit union that looks out for their members. They've grown too large, support *****, and fees are horrible.Attempted to close my account and they didn't do it properly. The next month my automatical bill pays happened, overdraft the "closed" account and they call and want me to make the balance positive.....um, not my fault.Seriously, find a smaller CU that's mber focused--iccu isn't it.Idaho Central Credit Union

In the last month I have I have taljed to many employees if iccu I have a helco interest only loan with them.I asked why do the statement and the receipts of payment and the print out from their computer they don't have the same information. The ending balance verys from $8.80 to $400.00 with in one statement to the next month statement And that is with out drawing in money from that account. I asked them many time if they would pull up all of the paperwork and they said their paperwork is correct. There is no manager you can talk to and the only have a management team. I have all the proof to show them but they don't even want to see it. They think they don't make any mistakes and are very rude. The said they would take off all late fees and I have a email saying that and that it would not go on my credit report and the lied about that. I think their business practices are not good and I think they are cooking the book. I have also heard from some of their other customer that they have or going though the same thing.Idaho Central Credit Union

Was told i am not who i said i was.. Some how my above 750 credit score and 170k+ in credit is magically used and paid along with my 60k 2019 Genesis *** Auto loan.. Cause my job doesn't exsist.. I don't own the house i'm typing this in either..Fantastic bank.. 1/1 would go anywhere elseIdaho Central Credit Union

Terrible customer service!! I opened an acct online and has been over a week and only shows my deposit to my savings and not checking. The bank I transferred it from shows the transfer completed. I called customer service and they see my acct but said they can't verify it's me but won't ask any questions to verify. They are ridiculous. As soon as they find my money I am out!!!!!Idaho Central Credit Union
