    We signed a contract for a metal garage, after signing the contract we received a call from *** telling us we needed mechanical drawings for an additional $650. We paid that, 5 weeks later we received a call demanding another $500 for those same drawings. We changed nothing about or project yet they wanted more money. We were told in that phonecall that if we didn't pay the additional money the mechanical drawings would only have a snow load rating of 47psf( our county requires a 55 psf snow load rating to get a permit making those drawings and building not approvable. We had paid $2242.00 to get the process going but didn't receive any call about any additional fees until after they got our money. I believe this company is a scammer, cheating people out of their money and keeping it without building anything for them. I have been cheated out of $2242.00 and literally have nothing to show for it, nothing. I want my money back, nothing more, nothing less. We are still unsure how Dayton Barns is connected with *** but since demanding our money back we have received emails from ************ and ***.

    I have attached three documents regarding this complaint. The first attachment is an email to Mr. **** from ****** Barns stating that it can take up to 90 days for the refund of the deposit. That is Square's policy. Mr. **** can always reach out to ************ to see if there is any update on the refund. Attachment number two is an email from the Engineer stating calculations would be required if the ground snow load needed to be 90 PSF. That is a requirement from his city. On attachment number three you will see where EMB Metal Buildings refunded the cost of the drawings back to the dealer. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thank you.
