4 starsI invested in the Million Dollar Year, and then upgraded to the Wealth Building program because I wanted more confidence in managing my personal finances and especially learning to invest. I didn't want to pay someone else to manage my finances for me. With the program I have learned so much and become much more confident. I am excited about finances now when they used to scare me. Overall, I really love the learning and the access to professionals in the field. My complaints are for the end of the program. I feel really let down by the off-ramp for the program, or more accurately, the lack of one. The program continues to say that they are there to help you stay organized and understand your money, but when the program is done, they have very little organization and help in leaving the program with a clear idea of how to move forward. In short, it is not well organized and wrapped up. What should I be doing? Where do I download my documents? What are suggested ways to continue without the structure of the program? It has been clunky and awkward and a hit to my newfound confidence. Honestly, I'm leaving with a sour taste in my mouth. I fully expected a more organized hand-holding approach to leaving their program, considering their promises and price point.Review fromLaura M. J

4 starsThe Million Dollar Year course helped me get more focused and intentional about my finances. I joined because I wanted to stop worrying about money and start working toward goals like paying down debt, saving more for retirement, and building financial peace of mind. The program provided straightforward and actionable lessons that made it easy to stay on track. If you're looking for accountability and guidance on your personal finance journey, this is a very helpful program. That said, it is very expensive, but if you can really practice what they teach, it is worth it.Review fromRita S

5 starsI decided to join Million Dollar Year because my finances were in disarray. I have never had financial sense and decided to educate myself during my retirement years. MDY is the perfect platform for gaining a thorough understanding of finances. The knowledge gained has also been helpful as I solidify a business that I started several years ago.I have been able to pay down credit card debt, fund an emergency account, and keep some funds in a savings account.I feel that I am a work in progress. My schedule, and probably bad habits, has kept me from completing MDY within a year, so I look forward to being able to continue in the alumni program. I appreciate the non-judgmental approach to support women in learning financial literacy. 2025 is my year for financial independence and prosperity!Review fromLisa M

5 starsI joined the *** program to get a better understanding of my finances as I approach retirement. During the past year I have paid down a significant amount of debt and created a working plan to save and invest in my future. The skills I've acquired have taught me to align my spending with my values and have opened up conversations about financial responsibility with my children.Review fromAriadne C

5 starsI joined *** because I was tired of feeling buried in debt, out of touch with my finances, living paycheck to paycheck, not to mention all the emotions around money like guilt, anxiety, shame... I wanted to finally do something about it.When I heard about Dow Janes, I was worried it might be a scam, but once I finally started the course, I knew that it wasn't. The program is very well structured and I appreciate the way ***** and ******-**** guide you through building up good money habits step-by-step. The hardest and most rewarding part of the program for me was healing my relationship with money. While I still have room to grow there, I feel so much better than I did a year ago. I used to get anxious just looking at my bank account, and would avoid it rather than face reality. Now, I do it on a daily basis! I am also on track to pay off my credit card debt in a couple months, and have saved a $1,000 emergency fund in a high-yield savings ********** only negative comment is that I wish the program was longer. Due to some serious health issues that impacted me for more than half the year, I was unable to spend as much time on the coursework as I would have liked, so I still have several modules to go. I will be purchasing the alumni program, but I wish I didn't have to do that to finish the year I already paid for.Review fromAmy R

2 starsI joined The Million Dollar Year, and it was exactly what I needed to build my financial literacy after a divorce. I started working through the program and after 3 months, I was encouraged to schedule a personal coaching call. I spoke with a lady for about an hour and her objective was to enroll me in the *************** Accelerator program. I was honest and stated I had about $60K in debt and no way to take on a side hustle. She said, What if your invested money could help pay off your debt? She eventually broke me down and I signed up to pay another $11K on top of the $2K I had paid in the beginning. I freaked out and called to cancel 1-2 days later and was manipulated into staying and not cancelling because Id get a refund if I didnt make my money back by the end of the program, so theres no ******* not saying either one of the programs are not worth your time and money, but I will say they will try to upsell you no matter what situation you are in. In my opinion, the *** should not be an option for anyone with high interest debt. I was also emotionally unstable after a divorce and had some serious life stressors. I asked for some of my money back and was denied, but I was given an extension for my time in the program, about 6 months more. I would have loved a lifetime access to the program and community. I was never asked to do a post-financial snapshot to see if Id made my money back but I was offered the alumni program for $50/month. I declined. The content was effective. Im glad I completed the *** but sad I paid more money to only land myself in deeper debt.Review fromTammee S

2 starsI think the material in this course is valuable, the support is great, the organization and presentation of the *** and *** courses are well done. The length of time (Million Dollar YEAR) is misleading, and the investment for the Wealth Building Accelerator course takes advantage of people who already struggle to manage their finances. Leading people to believe they can accelerate their finances contradicts their teaching that you need to take your time to create a solid financial foundation rather than making spontaneous/impulsive spending decisions.I started the course in February 2023 and soon after lost my job so I didnt have any real numbers to work with to apply the course. The beginning lessons encouraged me to heal my relationship with money, which is great, but its taken me 1.5 years to do, and now that Im in a better position to work on my finances the courses are no longer available. This would be a better investment if the material was available forever instead of only a year, and if the vetting process for signing up for *** was based on where people are at financially/emotionally rather than how much the interviewer thinks the prospective client is willing to pay $10k. I think its manipulative and dishonest.Review fromErica H

5 starsI cannot recommend Dow Janes' Million Dollar Year Program enough. I signed up because I wanted to receive clear, simple guidance (ideally from a woman/women) on personal finance that I could actually understand, being that the topic has not always been the most interesting to me, and the terminology felt over my head. I knew I wanted warm, easy-to-follow guidance. I got exactly that. In this past year I've paid off two high interest credit cards to the tune of several thousand dollars, learned how to properly track my money (which has resulted in me knowing exactly what I have and where it's going), and feel much more educated on the basics of investing. The course is so well-organized, and the team is so kind, clear, and they know their ish. :) I am confident that I will look back at this year of taking this course as the turning point for when I came out of the dark about my personal finances. I'm navigating career change, and learning about finances now while I explore my next steps has been invaluable for knowing what I will need to take care of myself for the long haul. Insanely grateful for Dow Janes and Million Dollar Year. ??????Review fromAli W

5 stars"I joined the Million Dollar Year after stumbling across Dow Janes videos on ******************** They were giving financial advice that I was craving as a female! I now am not afraid of interacting with my money. I have a solid budgeting plan and am investing... two things I never thought I could do. I am also helping my younger sister set off on her financial journey so that she doesn't have to struggle like I did!"
