  We had an absolutely horrible experience with the ******** Grace Assisted Living facility - specific to the *********** side, and I wish that a rating of less than 1 star could be given. My mother lived at this facility in the *********** side from September 2022 until July 2023. While she resided at this facility, there were three different employees in the role of *********** Manager. In the same time frame, there were also three separate employees in the role of head nurse of the memory care side. With these changes in managers and lead nurses, the one thing that remained consistent was that the Administrator of the entire ******** facility could and would verbally make false promises, no matter the nature of the conversation. In one meeting, staff even identified a lack of training and internal protocol was being followed, and yet, no changes took place. Items went missing, furniture was moved from my mother's room, and yet, the facility administration always noted that it was the family's fault for allowing it to occur. While baffling at the very least, this was a very eye-opening and disappointing experience for our entire family, and we are so grateful we found a safe and happy place for my mother following this horrendous ordeal. Grace Assisted Living in ******** is an excellent reminder that just because something looks nice, doesn't mean that it is. I highly recommend you consider seeking a different facility for you or your loved one if you care about their well-being at all. To say that Grace Assisted Living does not care about the well-being of residents is an understatement. 0/10.

  ***** location If you want to drop your old person and run then do it here, meds were not given because they were sleeping in a chair - marked as refused. Double dosing on medication. Cameras are not allowed. Nursing staff are more concerned about raising the level of care so that they can charge a higher rate. Their idea of getting a resident ready to go out is to yank them from the recliner place them on the toilet and treat them like a child yanking up their underpants. Staff to resident ratio is way too high 4 to 80, helping with a shower means sitting in a recliner on their phone while the resident showers. Some staff went in and assisted but that was not a common thing. The place is nicely appointed and the rooms are big but nightly 2-hour checks are not done. One resident only lasted one night and died behind the door. Staff pushes giving trays in the room so they can charge the family 10 bucks for each one even if it's a bowl of oatmeal. "Nurse" **** insisted my parent needed memory care and be placed at level 4, her assessment consisted of a total of 3 minutes in his room. Then let's make signs for everything, don't get up alone, call for help, etc. Even though the call button is either by the bed or in the bathroom so if you have a chair across the room you have this excellent long trip cord hazard. And when they fall well ooops that is going to move you to a higher level of care and more $$$$. And that is the bottom line there, more money if the resident does not have an advocate it's even worse. The resident went from self-sustaining to bedbound due to the nurse's order and quickly died because she was inconvenient for the "nurse" ****. The admin *** tries but she is overruled by **************. Don't be bamboozled by the decor, the activities "director" is an aide that was promoted and has no clue other than bingo. The cinema room is NEVER used, and no movies are announced in 8 months I never saw anyone in there.

  This is an outstanding place for your parent. The employees are higher skilled, the community is clean and rents are reasonable.
