Pattern of Complaints
On March 23, 2016, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding advertising, billing, refund, product and customer service issues. Consumers allege that after signing up for a free trial advertisement of the company’s health and beauty products they only expect to be charged for shipping and handling fees. These fees allegedly range from $1.00 - $8.00. Consumers report unauthorized charges ranging from $64.99 - $98.00 for an automatic subscription of products that they did not order. Consumers further allege the products to be unsuccessful and being refused a refund for the unauthorized charges. Consumers report instances of being disconnected from the call by the company’s staff after requesting a refund.
BBB reached out to the company in an effort to address the underlying cause(s) of its pattern of complaints.

BBB researched https://apexhairvitality.com/. The website was registered on May 29, 2015, by EvoPlus LTD. The website has been privately registered by ProtectService LTD out of London, UK. Apex Vitality also lists an address of 701 S. 100 E., Provo, UT 84606. BBB has determined that this address belongs to Intermountain Nutrition and that Apex Vitality is a client of theirs.
The company also lists a Canadian address of 3680 Av. du Musee, Montreal, QC, H3G2C9, Canada. BBB has determined that this is the address of EvoPlus LTD which is an online marketing technology firm that appears to be located at a residence.
