In May 2024, I purchased a new 14' V-Nose trailer from TrailersPlus. Within the first year of ownership, the trailer began exhibiting multiple structural and cosmetic issues, including cracked panels around retaining screws, missing screws, and significant paint failurepaint literally flaking off the trailer and exposing bare ******** February 2025, the trailer was brought in to TrailersPlus for warranty service. The side and front panels were replaced, and additional screws were used to help address the cracking. However, the paint issue was not covered by the manufacturer. As a result, a temporary fix was performed by store staff using aerosol spray paint. The sprays low pressure was enough to further lift the original paint, revealing bare metal. While the staff at the dealership were professional and did what they could within their limitations, they confirmed that the manufacturer did not authorize proper repairs for the paint ********** of June 2025just over one year since the purchasethe same issues have reappeared. I am again seeing cracks around retaining screws, missing hardware, and now rust forming due to the inadequate paint coverage. Despite two repair attempts, none of the core issues have been resolved.Over the past 15 months, Ive spent significant time and effort trying to work with TrailersPlus to resolve these issues. The trailer has been out of service on multiple occasions for repairs, causing disruption to my work and additional costs. I also invested extra money into this trailer for interior upgrades, including custom racks and epoxy floor paintcosts that would be lost if I am forced to replace the trailer.I am requesting that the manufacturer either (1) replace the trailer entirely, or (2) refund the full purchase price along with the cost of my custom upgrades. If the manufacturer refuses to stand behind its product, I intend to make others aware of the poor quality and lack of support I have received.

On May 3, 2025, I purchased a 24-foot enclosed car hauler trailer from Trailer Plus for $14,714.00. The very next day, during its first use to transport my 2024 Can-Am X3 Max, we noticed the rear door was bent after loading. I returned to the *********** facility, where I was told to contact the warranty provider directly. After submitting photos showing the misalignment and damage (clearly visible with a straight edge), I was informed that the warranty company approved a full replacement of the rear door. I dropped the trailer off a few days later, expecting a heavy-duty door as I was told. Instead, they received the exact same standard frame. The store initially promised to reinforce it, then backtracked, stating warranty would not cover reinforcement unless I paid out-of-pocket.After escalating the issue to the district manager, the reinforcement was finally added. However, when I went to pick up the trailer, it was returned in worse condition than when I dropped it off:The wood floor is burned from welding. The door skin has pinholes from being laid on welding slag. The skins are popping out, not properly tucked into the side skirts, allowing clear paths for water intrusion. The door skins are scratched, apparently from careless drilling. The door spring is bent. The paint is severely scratched, with visible damage from workers using the door spring and frame as an anchor point for chains. The door seals are falling off.The Interstate sticker was removed, reused, and re-applied torn and full of bubbles, giving the trailer a damaged and unprofessional appearance.Due to the unacceptable condition, I refused to accept the trailer and left it at the facility. I plan to escalate this issue as far as necessary. The store manager kept repeatedly telling me he was understaffed, did not have the experience needed to perform the repairs and was doing the best he could.

We purchased a 2025 enclosed trailer in September. The buying process went fine and the people we dealt with were fine until it came time to tag the trailer. (we are out of state) The dealership lost the certificate of origin. When we called the dealership, they advised us to call the financing company (*******************) ******************* advised us to call ********** and Rock solid advised us to call trailers plus. This went on and on with everyone blaming everyone else. The cycle just continued for 3 weeks until crickets. My husband left several messages for ***** to call us back about this after he said he would talk to his boss to "see what we can do" and suggested we pay $180 for another certificate of Origin, which was fine, but we are still waiting for a return call from almost a month ago. Whenever we call in , they always say ***** is unavailable and he will return our call but he never does. I again reached out today via the website text and still no response. So here we are today, with a brand new trailer that we cannot tag, sell or trade in, because the dealership misplaced the certificate of origin. The financing company said they have requested the title several times with no luck either. At the very least, they could return a phone call.

I bought a trailer from Trailer Plus and it appeared to be a great trailer. They really sold me on how great their warranty was. They told me that if anything goes wrong with the trailer it will be covered under their nationwide best in class warranty. I bought the trailer in October of 2024 and in December of 2025 the trailer welds failed and actually one weld was missing completely from the factory. The whole front end of the trailer snapped at the weld on the right side. I immediately called trailer plus and they told me to fill out the warranty online. I went online and was having trouble so called and spoke to the store manager ****. He stayed on the phone the whole time while I was filling out warranty. He helped me fill out or give me the answer for each box. At the time, I didn't realize this but the warranty form on my phone did not load properly and one of the questions just said "weight", so I put the total capacity of the trailer which was 10K pounds. When I stated 10K, **** did not correct me and I continued onto the next box. I submitted the form while on the phone with **** and was later contacted by them saying my warranty was denied. They stated I overloaded the trailer because apparently the question was "description of cargo and weight" not just weight. So they told me to resubmit it again. I did it again with the proper weight which was ***** lbs and they still said it was denied but they have agreed to fix the trailer. They said it was denied because from the pictures of the frame fracture they said we must of overloaded it, even after I showed them the missing weld. They did say they would have to ship the trailer to their plant to get fixed but it is now January 5th and they still have not picked up my trailer. They keep telling me they are trying to get cheaper freight costs which is almost half of what I paid for the trailer and I have to pay this. I have more to say but no more room on this form.

Hello I purchased a 12ft ******************** trailer Thanksgiving weekend of 2023. This summer i noticed my tires on the front axel wearing very quickly on the outside shoulder. I also had three screws in the right side rear tire. I took the trailer to the fresno office to get it looked at. They warrantyed the rear tire. I asked about the front two and was told they were fine. I left and on Oct 7 I took pictures of everything tire condition air pressure ect. Took the trailer in and spoke with the manager expressed that the ****** was off on the front axel and needed it looked at. The trailer was 10.5 months old at this point. I expressed the concern more with this axel than the tires. If the axel issue isn't fixed the next set of tires would wear off the same way. I make my living with this trailer and the machine that is in it. I could leave it there for 3 days. It just happened that I didn't need it all week. I didn't hear anything from them at all until I called them on Saturday. I asked was the issue addressed and corrected. I was told that they called me on Friday, that my tires had less that 30lbs of pressure which I have pictures of a preasure gage on each tire and the preasure was over 35lbs. Was also told that I have overloaded the trailer witch is impossible with a gutter machine in it. Was also told that I was supposed to change the wheel bearings at 1 year the trailer was less than 1 year old. All the information that I was told were lies to cover up the fact they never looked at the issue that is wrong with the trailer. I know they never checked the axel because I marked everything that would have had to br loosened or taken off and the marks all are still perfectly lined up. All they did was replaced 3 tires, keep the trailer for a week, and lied to cover up that they never checked the camber of the axel. So now I am going to have to spend close to $900.00 for a new axel or buy new tires every 10 months. This is completely unacceptable to me!!

      Customer Answer

      1. They said everything that is loaded is in the rear of the trailer not true. The machine is 10 ft long mounted in a 12 ft trailer.
      2. Was stated I over loaded the trailer. Again not true. On **** left from the axel touching the frame due to pot holes that sometimes unavoidable.  No other ****s from the other three springs which would be present if over loaded. Machine mounted in trailer weighs 1200lbs trailer weighs 1700lbs mics tools and ladders to preform our job weighs 1000lbs. So a trailer with 2 3500lbs axeles rated 7000lbs leaves approximately 3000lbs remaining weight that the trailer could carry.
      3. They said that the trailer is not level. First that doesn't matter, most importantly I run prices of rain **** up to 80ft long out of the back of the trailer. If it wasn't level the long pieces would either dig into the ground or run up so high my stands could not reach the price to support it.
      4. Was stated in thier response that they replaced the tires with new ones and was not having i was not having any issues any more, that is just like having a vehicle the the alignment out and saying put new tires on it and it will be corrected with out fixing any underlying problems.
5.i am a general contractor and own a remodel company and if I had a unhappy customer I emedatly discuss my customers concerns and find a resolution. If I get wind that my employee is not doing thier job or has lied to myself or a customer they are swiftly delta with. I guess in the corporate world collection of a check is more important than customer service.
      6. They said that my air pressure was in the 20lds range completely not true. I will submit pictures that I couldn't last time.
      7. No one from interstate trailers or trailers plus have ever reached out to me.
      Thank you for your time!

Pictures show the tires preasure right before dropping it off at thier shop. Also showes how level it is being pulled. Pictures taken sitting in thier yard the morning I dropped it off.

Purchase set of wheel bearings on 8/3/2024 .they were the wrong size for the asile.went to return them on monday 8/5. Was told to come back tomorrow. It took awhile to do a return and they were short handed.went back on Thursday to return them. Sales manager told me that they won't refund my money, because he said that we agreed on that they were the right part.so it's not there fault. We did verify that the bearing did fit in the hub,but never did we ever agree or verified the axle size. So the bearings I was sold and was told would work. But didn't, there were to big foe the axle. Yes I agree on the bearings g fitting in the hub,but never did me or my friend **** that was there at the time every verify or agree that the ones trailer plus sold use were the right ones or right axle size. Think if the parts manager telling me that they should ,but they dont. Parts manager told me that I should list them an amazon,or something like that and try to sell then ,that they won't give me a refund.never was told that b4 I bought them. And he never verified that we agreed on them being the right size for axle like he said.i **** a witness that can verify that we never agree that the bearing was the right size to fit axle, just agreed that bearing fit hub,not the axle.they sold me the wrong part now they won't refund my money. Plus the part they sold was scattered in the box the other one was In a zip lock baggie with grease on the out side like it was already open and some just threw back in a box, like the were going g to use it but was the right one.

Puchased a trailer on 4/26. Got the vtrailer home (daytime) and loaded up a vehicle. Brought trailer home for a second load, it was now dark. One of the lights inside the trailer doesn't work. Was told there was undercoating on the trailer. There is not. Found many spots of rust that were not immediately noticeable on the lot. There is also a dent in the trailer. Called the dealership and was told "we have you on camera inspecting it." This is not true, as we were told the lights would all work when plugged into truck and truck was turned on. Have called the dealership multiple times. I am told we cannnot talk to anyone else but the manager there. Also was told on 4/25 to bring cash for the purchase. Was told to bring the exact amount, which we did. At the location on 4/26 we are told they can't take over $10,000 in cash and I would need to put $350 on my card. Sounds like someone is pocketing money to me. The trailer we purchased is now showing as sold on the website for over $12,000. Was told that's "just how the computer system works". At the store we were trying to decide between at 16 ft or 20 ft trailer. Was told at 16 ft was $9500 and a 20 ft was $10,500. There are no 16 ft trailers on the website listed for that price. They are all in the $7500 range. So, we were lied to multiple times during the transaction.

      Complaint: 21643464

I am rejecting this response because:

First, I am a female (not mister). Second, I have never gotten any calls or text messages from anyone at Trailer Plus. My husband has gotten one phone call and three text messages. He responded to two text messages.

My husband and I have asked them to come pick up the trailer for the repairs and they have refused. We informed them the date that we contacted them we would not be able to bring the trailer in immediately for repairs. My husband and I welcomed the arrival of our first child on May 21. She was born prematurely and has had several appointments. The trailer has been dropped off to be repaired. However, I was told the undercoating was not covered under warranty. There is no undercoating on the trailer, but we were charged over $2000.00 for the undercoating. I was told that there was undercoating on the trailer and was shown a spray can. That is what he said they used for undercoating. It was clearly not undercoating. I was also told it will take quite some time to repair the trailer as "everyone quit".

I also sent a text message about the charges to my credit card and never got a response to my message (I can provide proof if necessary). We brought in the full amount to pay for the trailer in cash. We were told they could not accept anything over ****** in cash. We were told we had to charge an amount to a card and then were charged fees. We were never told about these fees. When my husband asked, he was told there are signs everywhere. There are no signs, nor were we told about the fees (I am sure they have since put up signs).

      Sincerely,
