    I was prescribed a pregestone and singular for an illness I was experiencing. So I had Snells Pharmacy fill my prescription. No one told me I would get a different brand of medicine. They filled it with whatever they wanted. I took the medicine and my face got red and I was vomiting and had diarrhea. They charged me $40 for it. I called the next day to tell them what happened to me. They wanted me to name what ************ made my pills. I had no idea. I told them look at my account there on the computer and see. They could give my money back or get me a different brand. I am 71 and on a fixed income. I returned all the drugs I paid for. They are refusing to work with me on getting the correct brand. I had to go to another pharmacy to get what I needed. So I had to pay again. They never mentioned to me they were changing my medicine to different brand at all. This is bit disturbing that a pharmacy would not tell a trusting patient that their medication was changed without notice.

    **** was prescribed these prescriptions, no where on her profile did it state that she prefers a certain company/brand or that she had had any reactions to any medications. She was given the same drug made by a different company that is equivalent to the company she says she likes (This is normal pharmacy procedure). She called in complaining about her symptoms and I tried asking her questions to make sure it was a true reaction to the drug, she blew me off. I also told her it was against the law for me to take the drugs back. I consulted my pharmacist to see if these symptoms could be caused by these medications, I was told that it wasn't likely that the drugs caused this reaction. I told her then that we couldn't take it back ( by law) or refund her money as the medications had already been sold and left our pharmacy. She came by our drive thru window and insisted on leaving the medications at the window and said she didn't want them. My pharmacist told her he wouldn't throw them away and kept the medication by his computer. She came back and picked up one of the medications and left the other 2 which are by the pharmacist station waiting for her. She has been a very difficult patient to work with even before this. I believe we tried to work with her as best as we could by law and no matter what we did she would've been mad. We have since put notes on her profile which companies she prefers for her medications even though the drugs she got were identical.
