    I signed up to attend their Halloween event as a vendor and paid $50 on august 26th to reserve a booth. I then realized that I would not be able to attend and reached out for a refund. They then said that the money was nonrefundable, but they never disclosed that information before I paid. They event isnt until 10/22/2022 and I have given them ample time to find a replacement. I sent them several refund requests on Venmo during the week of 9/4 and they were rejected and I was then blocked. I am coming here to get my refund because they failed to disclose that it was nonrefundable before or when they send payment information.

    Snake River Doodles is the charity organization that receives funds for our free therapy animal work from the events the complaint is referring to.  As for the event... it is absolutely non refundable when you sign up for an event and the fee is not due to be paid until 10 days before the event.  **************** gives the option to transfer the fee to a future event or keep the spot at the event that was registered for.  If the spot can be filled we may consider a refund.  The reason for the "block" was only on Venmo and it was due to dozens of requests in just a few minutes time causing several dozen notifications to keep going off during my business meetings.  This person has used threatening and harrassment tactics that are not professional.  Working towards a solution.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The company is not being truthful in their response. I didnt send dozens of Venmo requests, i sent way less than that. Also they claim it was absolutely nonrefundable, yet they failed to disclose any of that information beforehand (see email they sent about payment).

    Our policy is that our vendor fees are not refundable but can be trasferred to future events.  This client is not going to be welcome at my future charitable events due to her attitude and behavior prior.  The fee will be refunded when her spot is filled at the event that still has not even closed for registration.

    I am rejecting this response because: the business is dishonest and trying to scam me out of my money. The business never disclosed on the phone, in writing, or in person (before my payment was made) that the payment was nonrefundable. Then as soon as I wanted a refund, they claimed it was their policy. I do not ever want to go to another event hosted by this dishonest and manipulative company.
