In 2022 I bought a new cx5 ***** from ******* foothills *****. I paid to have a clear coat applied to the vehicke. ***** considers this an extra warranty. . At time of purchase k wa in the midst of moving to ******* and thought I would be able to return to have the clear coat applied. Shortly after arriving in ******* I had serious health issues that prohibited me from driving the car 600 miles (round trip) to get this done. I had hoped the health issues would get better to where I would be able to make the trip. These health issues have continued. I will not be able to drive the car to ******* . ******* ******* in finance has acknowledged that management agrees I am due a refund of $795.00. Refund request was acknowledged as being processed Sept 30, 2024. Despite over 6 emails each stating the refund is in the way, I have not received it. Today I made phone calls both to the parent company and the accounting department of the dealership in *******. So far I have had zero response. Taking this long to return my money for a product was never applied (thus there is no warranty) us beyond reasonable.

******************** purchased this vehicle on 11/22/23.  At the time of sale, the only thing promised on our we owe was fixing an oil cooler line.  The vehicle was brought back in on 12/15/24 and the engine oil cooler line was replaced at that time.  Customer brought the unit back in on 1/29/24 stating there was a leak.  It was found that the brake vacuum pump was leaking and was replaced.  Customer paid for this repair (RO#********.   Customer came back in on 5/14/24 stating that the air conditioning was not running correctly.  Knudtsen Chevrolet replaced the refrigerant and did not charge the customer (Ro# ********. At the same time the customer stated there was a knocking noise.  Knudtsen Chevrolet also replaced the upper control arms at no cost to the customer (RO# ********.  Customer then brought the vehicle in on 6/12/24 stating noise in front end. Fault was found to be caused by tires.  Customer states that they have called, and no one will get them in. this vehicle has been in the service department 4 times.  Knudtsen Chevrolet has attached all repair orders and the limited warranty that was given to the customer from ******************************************* at the time of sale which was 3 months or ***** miles from date of purchase. Both of which has passed. Customer was offered an extended service contract at time of sale which was declined by the customer.  ******************************************* has reached its limits with goodwill at this time.  All work performed under goodwill was to satisfy this customer and was in no way tied to anything that was on the we owe.  We believe we will not be able to satisfy this customer, and we have exhausted the limit of our goodwill.

I am rejecting this response because: this vehicle was not inspected to the full capacity of the business these issues were happening during the first week of owning the truck this company does not look out for its community like the day they due I brought issues up when the oil cooler line was needing repair but I was always told that oh it's either this or that when I had to replace the struts on the truck I brought the issue up 3 different times and I was told of it's the lead springs they have first in between acting like I was a total idiot this company has screwed over more people they I can count I mean look at there reviews compared to the other dealers around this area if I was any one I would stay away from purchasing or even get service done they don't call back or even try to reach out to get you scheduled the only good experience was with the sales lady I had and she was about helping her customer but that is the only one

    Sincerely,

We purchased a 2020 GMC Yukon XL in February 2021 from Knudtsen Chevrolet that was pre owned certified. We also purchased an extended warranty for the vehicle. We received 2 free oil changes at the beginning in which we used. Then I continued to maintain the vehicle from that time forward. On May 18, 2023 three cylinders went out in the vehicle. I initially took the vehicle to a local shop and they stated that the engine was bad. They reached out to our extended warranty place which the mechanic shop reported to me that they were looking for a way to deny the claim immediately. The mechanics shop did some research for me and found that the vehicle was still under manufacturers warranty. I was told I just needed to get it to Knudtsen Chevrolet to get them to look at it. So I found a way to get it to them and they stated the engine was bad as well. They submitted for approval of the engine repair which is $13,903.32. Based on the fact I didn't take the vehicle to the dealership to have my maintenance done they stated they needed receipts showing the purchase of the oil and filters for 7-8 times since the purchase. I struggled to obtain them but finally came up with them. The receipts had mileage and dates for oil changes along with the products used with part numbers. I was then told that I was denied because I didn't have item numbers on my receipts. Everytime I try to get them stuff they continue to add more things to the list i need in an attempt to deny my claim which they have done. Im currently being charged for the engine that has ***** miles on it and I still own $44,000 on. There has been little help from them other than requesting the $13000 for the engine. The dealership also shared the information that GM denied us on the claim to the Extended Warranty company resulting in them saying they would probably deny us too without looking at our claim.

This Claim was denied by the *************** Contract Company due to the fact that the receipts provided by the customer did not have any Shop/address/phone number attached to the documents.  The documents also did not provide filter part numbers or weight of oil listed. Please see attachment for an example of receipts provided.

The receipt needs to show the name, address, phone number and date of the store the oil or filter were purchased along with the part number and inventory description of the filter and the weight and quantity of the motor oil along with the amount paid, if the work was performed by the customer. If the work was done in a service shop, the receipt should show the name, address and phone number of the shop along with the labor, part number and description of the oil filter and motor oil weight and amount paid on the receipt. Also, the shop receipt should have the customer's name, address and contact number along with date, description of the vehicle, VIN and mileage work was performed.

    Thank you,

    Eve Knudtsen
