    I had many problems with this location initially giving false information so I had been in contact with the General manager only since March. I found out in June 18 that I was unable to have my scheduled wedding which was for 7/27. I immediately text messaged them and informed venue. I also spoke with GM on phone. I requested that at least part of my money be refunded due to the venue miscalculations of my balance as well as my final count was not due until 30 days prior. The venue received an overpayment of funds by me but refused to return any amount at all back. The venue also stated over the phone they will get back to me and did not until the week before saying I can choose another day but may be a higher price or have an event same day it was already not enough time and my mental was not able to have a party there. I feel that I should at least be able to get money for at least the food that was not even prepared so there were no costs for that. The venue held a space, I gave them enough notice even before my final funds and count was due. I wasn't asking for much from the venue even though paid ****** to the venue they did not offer me one dime back. Even though I have been through so much from day one with them. I gave ample time and feel that they should have given something back since they were not out of all of the money and they did not provide any services for me. I hate I chose this location as a first time bride. Venue response: all amounts paid to Beau Chateau are non-refundable, recipient may request cancellation in writing before further deposits become due, after which recipient shall not be liable for those amounts not yet due. Recipient may also request rescheduling of the event to Beau Chateau, but Beau Chateau has full discretion to deny any such request due to the costs to Beau Chateau, scheduling constraints, and other concerns, and rescheduling may be subject to higher pricing. you may reschedule your event for a later date if you'd like.

    I hope this email finds you well.

    Beau Chateau's management team is writing to address the impending Lawsuit initiated by ******************************* regarding the cancellation of her wedding, which was necessitated by the ****** serious illness.
    Please find attached the email communication between ************** and Beau Chateau management, as well as the contract signed by **************.

    We wish to bring to your attention that in the attached email, we have offered ************** the option to reschedule the event date, recognizing that the circumstances were beyond her control.  The contract stipulates that:

    All amounts paid to Beau Chateau are non-refundable. The recipient may request cancellation in writing before further deposits become due, after which recipient shall not be liable for those amounts not yet due. The recipient may also request rescheduling of the event to Beau Chateau, but Beau Chateau has full discretion to deny any such request due to the costs to Beau Chateau, scheduling constraints, and other concerns, and rescheduling may be subject to higher pricing.  

    Additionally, the contract states
    The remaining balance is due 30 days before the scheduled event. If the remaining balance is not paid, the event is subject to cancellation.

    At this time, there remains an outstanding balance that wasnt in accordance with the 30-day agreement.

    However, we are committed to finding a compassionate and fair solution for **************. In response to your request for an amicable settlement, we are pleased to propose the following options:

    Beau Chateau is willing to allow ************** to suggest a new date for the event. Once a date is agreed upon, Beau Chateau will draft a new contract, which must be wet signed by **************. The new date should be within 12 months from now. Beau Chateau also offers the option for ************** to use our services on the originally scheduled date for a different type of event.

    We hope these options provide a satisfactory resolution to this matter.

    I am rejecting this response because:Hi the response from Beau chateau was not sufficient. The venue did not allow me to submit for same day until after my attorney reached out but at that point I didn't have much time to plan something else and be be able to have atleast the bare minimum of attendance. I also would not want to have something at that point which would have been my wedding day without my husband being available that just would not have been a great time for me. I requested a return of my overpayment from them and was told that they did not have the capacity to return any funds as per contract. They also stated having another event but that was not an option due to the circumstances. I also would like to state that I was merely if nothing else asking for my overpayment in which they owed me I did not owe them any money according to all of our mutual calculations. This is just not fair not great business and I will definitely share this with others about this venue. They turned what should have been a happy time into a horrible one from the beginning but I was already too far into it and couldn't back out. They have cause more emotional damage to me than what I should have experienced being my first wedding which is why they initiated contact with the general manager for me because of all the problems. I would never want anyone to go through this with this venue at all. I wish I never chose them! 
    I am not satisfied and the offer to have an event next year at the place I had so much trouble with. I wish they would have just given me back my overpayment and they could have kept the rest. They received over the amount of  payment and more and they didn't provide a service for me at all. I gave them over a month of notice so they were not out of anything besides holding the date in which they could have kept a portion of my money for that and nothing more.i am not satisfied with this and I will not let them get away with treating me unfairly.

    We would like to clarify that the communication between Beau Chateau's management and the client regarding the cancellation of her event occurred one month prior to the scheduled date. As previously mentioned, our offer still stands for ********** to reschedule her wedding for a future date. We are committed to providing exceptional service and creating an unforgettable experience for her special day. In line with our values, we propose the same solutions we have already extended.

    It is important to note that the cancellation one month prior to the event prevented our venue from being rebooked, resulting in a financial loss for Beau Chateau due to the inability to rent the space for that date.

    Additionally, the clients recent communication mentioned concerns about overpayment. However, as outlined in the attached screenshot, ********** has paid $11,500 to date, and the total contract amount is $13,615. This leaves a remaining balance of $2,115.44. Despite this remaining balance, we are not enforcing the payment at this time, given the current circumstances.

    We look forward to resolving this matter amicably and appreciate your attention to this case.
