      First let me state the technician was great. This review is for *** pricing. I had noticed a gas leak in my attic when adding some insulation. I called NICOR and they came out and said yes there is a leaky old valve and because there was no upstream shutoff they cut off all my gas. So it's winter with a major storm coming. I called *** to get it done. And oh boy did they get it done. The technician installed a $5 valve (maybe) for $1700!!!! He spent maybe 45 mins doing the work. I would never have paid this but being held at gunpoint by the weather and NICOR, I had to pay ***** ***!!! You are highway robbers! The $1700 valve cost more than the 700 sqft of insulation I laid. Is that right??? Proper? Ethical??? They don't provide any itemized bill. The tech goes out to his car and calls dispatch and they discuss how much they can get out of the situation. The company is a bag of **** and employed by ***************. Just saying. I think sure it is a free market economy but ****** learned. NO MORE *** in my budget. Good day to all and let the buyer beware. TO THE ***** OF ***. I HOPE YOU GET YOURS ONE DAY. I hope you suffer a very expensive and painful (you fill in the blank). You have to live with yourself,

      We appreciate you sharing your recent experience. It is important to clarify that our pricing structure is based on a flat rate price book. Our up front, flat rate, pricing provides the customer with the opportunity to make a well informed, educated decision on their home maintenance. One of the benefits of this type of pricing is that we will return, for no charge, should any issues occur with that work. We absolutely acknowledge that a retail price difference exists, however, those prices do not include the guarantees and warranties that we, at **** stand behind. We will always strive to provide competitive and fair pricing for our products and services. On 1/08/2024 ************** arrived at your home. He proceeded to assess and determine the work to be done based on his observations and your information. ************** proceeded to let you know that there was no union in the attic and that would require additional work. ************** also brought to your attention that a large section of the gas line in the attic is piped and galvanized which he advised you of and let you know that it should be changed out to black gas pipe. You declined and were not concerned with all of that but with resolving the current issue and having heat back in the home. We are very happy that we were able to resolve the issue quickly to avoid you and your family being without heat during the Winter months. Have a wonderful day.

      I had called *** to come out because toilet was leaking waste. They stated the cost was probably a couple of hundred and then sold me on having both my furnaces cleaned at $49 each. The guy showed up, looked at the toilet and put info in his I Pad. He stated the I Pad sets the Price. $490.00. Since he was there I agreed. He stated the wax ring failed. He cleaned everything up and installed 3 rings under toilet. I have ceramic tile and the toilet is 1 year old. Underlayment is plywood with dur-rock. The toilet later that night was rocking. They came back 3 times before they said the toilet was manufactured wrong and installed shims to stop it from rocking. Now for the real complaint. 1 week later for furnace cleaning. The tech was in my basement for about an hour. Came upstairs and showed me 2 blurry pictures of what he claims are the heat exchanger. He told me it was cracking and had to be replaced. He quoted 4 to 5 THOUSAND dollars. When I asked how he took those pictures he stated he has a special camera. I asked for him to send me the photos. Which I still haven't received. Then he said he did not have a ladder to get up into my attic where the other furnace is. He did have an extension ladder on his vehicle. I got him an 8 foot ladder. I went upstairs a little while later as he was walking out of my master bedroom. He never asked for permission to go into my bedroom. He passed 2 other bedrooms to get there. He had to look to find the thermostat. While he was still at my home I called the company that installed the basement furnace 4 years ago and told him about the heat exchanger. He said "throw the guy out. The heat exchanger has a life time warranty and its a sealed unit. You have to take apart the furnace to get the exchanger." He came out the next day to verify the furnace is fine. When he took of the front cover it was extremely dirty inside. The tech also signed my name on his completion form in 2 spots. Time to contact an atty for forgery.

      We were in need of a technician to help us out. First, I talked with a service rep. named ******, a very efficient and polite person. Within just a few hours ************** arrived. He is a courteous person and certainly knows his stuff! It actually was a pleasant experience crossing paths with this man!ABC clearly consistently tends to hire the best of the best!!!

      Had *** heating out to clean my furnace they wrote service repairs for multiple repair recommendations that needed to be done with pictures however the pictures had dates from 2/2023 and its December Try to get to work that was not needed had someone else out to look at unit no repairs needed. Left message for manager know one ever called back.

      I called their business office on November 2, 2023 to request for their, "Ultimate Furnace Tune Up. It was scheduled for December 8, 2023 at 10 AM. At noon time we called their business office to inform them that no one has called either they being late or to give us estimated time of arrival. Then, a gentleman said, some technician will call soon they on its way, but no estimated time. A day past no call and no technician has shown up for scheduled "tune-up." This kind of business practice is gravely worst than 0r repairs. It the failure of moral and business integrity, thus represents the leadership and people who working for company.

      Super friendly techs but huge rip off. Had them look at my AC unit for a cleaning. Its a new house and was probably - 4 year old unit. They said the capacitor was going out and it was $400 to replace. After I called local appliance store and found it was $35 for the part. The guy gave it to me for free. He said they are told to sell if they can.

      Best Picks, 11/27/2023 ************ Better Business Bureau, I am a very dissatisfied customer of **** the current ***************** for HVAC work in ********* Western Suburbs. I had chosen *** for a new system based on the Best Pick recommendation. The Following summarizes my interactions with ***:(12/3/2022) Paid $9,462 for installation of new HVAC System (existing humidifier disconnected and reconnected to new system)(12/2022 -11/2023) All required annual furnace inspections conducted (12/12/2022) Paid $513 for repair of humidifier (solenoid ************** replaced)(11/7/2023) *** responded to repair request of malfunctioning humidifier. The humidifier repair consisted of adjustments to a poorly wired solenoid valve and to a water service line needle valve secured in place by a plastic cable wrap and paper cushion.(11/7/2023) Since *** had been paid a total of $9975 for a HVAC installation and disconnect/reconnect of the existing Humidifier, I requested that a new valve capable of meeting current plumbing code be provided at no expense (11/14/2023) *** responded they were not responsible for valve replacement, but would provide replacement for $913.In order for the existing humidifier to function per code, a total repair cost of $1462 ($513+$913) would be required. I did not accept their offer. As of this writing, the system is functional, however, in all probability it will fail once again in the future.

During this service call it was diagnosed by our ******* Assurance technician that we did not replace your existing humidifier when we installed your new HVAC system in 2019 and therefore not replacing the valve. In light of the circumstances and your dissatisfaction with the valve not being under warranty, we did provide a discount on the valve replacement price, which you declined.       The $49 furnace tune up is a scam. The tech stayed downstairs for over an hour and then said my furnace was failing and to fix it would be $4000-$7000+ or they can send someone today to give an estimate. Hold your horses *****. I just had my furnace tuned up less than a year ago and it was in great condition.

      Do not use the $49 heat tune up. It is a total scam. I am more than angry with what I have experienced. The guy showed up and opened the boxes (I have two units) and took some pictures, then spent 40 minutes selling me their Club/membership. There is no tune up or whatever, just hard selling. He even refused to email the pictures he took ( am I supposed to have the pictures?) But what's beyond the red line is, the guy used a ** meter and showed me the ** read is 130ppm. He said the units cannot be used and I have to replace them ASAP. And then put some red tags on them (I have 2) and asked me to shut them off. The fee to replace some of the parts are $7500+. It was very suspicious when he showed me the ** read. It was such an awkward show - he first called someone and speaking on the phone. Then pulled out the meter and turned it on. He showed me the read and turned it off immediately, while still speaking on the phone. A minute later he ended the call and talked to me and said the units cannot be turned on because of that. I was trying to ask more about it, but the guy was just laughing at me and said I have a B.S degree of ****************** me! Other people may be more experience, but not smart. He showed me the picture of his B.S. degree certificate from another country. After he left, I immediately bought FOUR different ** detectors. Both show close to 0 read. And I tested with some actual smoke to make sure the detectors work. I am beyond angry with this. This is total scam. I posted this on ****** review, and the business replied saying they called me and left multiple voicemail. In fact, I never receive any email, phone call, voicemail. This company is a scam.

      They didn't hook up a water tube to our wash machine and it flooded our floor and the downstairs neighbors. They're making up excuses not to pay the 3000.00$ bill in damages to the neighbors.
