      They are a rip off. They claim that the roding is $93 but have to see the job before giving final estimate. Their technician wanted $680 to do this job. 25' of roding in the kitchen sink for $680 is rip off.

      This evening I had to call *** to check out my furnace as it had stopped running again ******************************* was the gentleman that came out. I must give this company rave reviews when they have a person like this handling these types of calls. *** Heating answered my call immediately and sent me an experienced, knowledgeable, incredible customer service tech ( I believe he's higher in rank) This was a wonderful experience and although I purchased my furnace from another company , I'm sticking with ***. I now know what's really going on with my newer furnace. In my opinion this young man should be in management. I hope his talent is fully recognized by his company . ***************************

      Called in to fix seal leak in first floor toilet. Fixed leak so it does not appear outside toilet but leak went under wood floor. Ruined wood floor and dripped into ceiling in basement shower and ruined ceiling. Estimate of 5K in damage. Avoid this company!!!!

      AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Please do not fall into the same trap that I did. I had an absolutely terrible experience with *** and cannot endorse them for any services in the future. My hot water retaining tank (not even the main hot water heater) went out, and it took *** 2.5 DAYS and 11 technicians to install, correct, and figure it all out. I was left without hot water for over 30 hours and without any running water for over 8 hours. On top of the terrible install, *** used LOWER QUALITY materials and a LOWER QUALITY tank than I had previously. They charged me $12,000 for the retaining tank replacement!! When I looked up the cost of the tank that they installed, it retails for around $4,000. I have no idea where they get off charging over $8,000 for labor and install. Absolute frauds. When I called to complain about the install taking 2.5 days, I was offered gift cards. I do not want any future service from this company! Finally after pleading with customer care, I was offered an 8% discount. To add insult to injury, the refund/discount took over 16 days to be issued back to me. I cant say it enough: STAY AWAY!TLDR; Over-priced work took 2.5 days to complete and charged me $12,000 for a $4,000 water tank. Will never give my business there again. Please stay away.

      They get a star for showing up. But I'm writing this review , not a complaint, because I'm suspicious of ***** tactics. I've read many BBB complaints now. Here's why I'm concerned. I own a few properties, thus numerous furnaces. The furnaces get serviced every autumn. After reading numerous complaints on BBB, it makes sense the tech made me uncomfortable. Yesterday and today - *** came out to "service" these furnaces. Progressively, the tech seemed intent on scaring me. "Blower motor bad", "capacitor bad", "inducer motor bad", "heat exchange fail." I get them serviced every year But one comment - something he said today when finishing either a legit or phony diagnostic: "IT'S GOING TO STOP ANY MUNUTE NOW". He said it with each furnace. So after reading all the complaints on BBB for *** - I see how many examples of *** coming out to service a customer and then the equipment fails the next day. Which leaves me wondering: "Did this guy do something to induce furnace failure?" If that happens, some salt-of-the-earth, working-class tenants might lose heat. Some of them being families with young kids. I'm just wondering right now, not accusing. Maybe the guy was straight up and I DO need to spend the $30K-$40K to replace all the furnaces. I have to take some responsibility here because I had service scheduled through a different provider. Then I see ***** ad for furnace service - $50 less than anyone else - and called to cancel on the other provider. I even said to the scheduler: "this is probably too good to be true. "For $49 per furnace, they get inside your door and basically tell you everything is doom and gloom for your furnace. Did he actually do any tune-**** Or did he just capture a bunch of pictures with his scope to convince me some dark, grainy image spells the kiss of death for a heat exchange? Save yourself the headache. Don't take a chance. Pay the extra money on a provider who doesn't try to back you in a corner.

      In this instance ************** performed a diagnostic evaluation of all of your systems and made the discovery that one or more of your units was compromised. This is a very serious issue and should be addressed immediately. Our technicians are extensively trained to identify signs and symptoms of heat exchanger failure as well as other serious issues, and it is important for you to understand that we have incredibly strict and specific rules surrounding these diagnostics that prevent our technicians from falsifying claims. We understand how distressing these findings can be and our top priority is you and your family's safety. We go so far as to guarantee our diagnostics to protect you and your family should we deem a heat exchanger failed.

      To be clear our technicians are not on a commission schedule. There is no financial reason or any monetary motivator that would encourage a technician to make these diagnostics. Our technicians are paid hourly and receive no incentive for deeming a furnace unsafe. The only reason they would have to diagnose a heat exchanger is because of legitimate concern for your safety. Furthermore, every technician signs an ethics agreement when working with ***. We do NOT ****** with our customers safety. Again, the ONLY reason we deem a furnace unsafe is if there is serious cause for concern. 

      Many other companies fail to put their technicians through the level of training that *** does and we highly recommend that your each back out for us to send a manager to your home for your peace of mind.

      I scheduled an ********* up in June, 2023. When the technician came, he told me that we needed to replace the ** capacitor, otherwise, he said, our ** can be broken in any minute, but we have been using our ** ever since and it didn't break at all. Also he said he would charge $500 for such a replacement. I didn't agree to replace it. Later I searched online, it says " most capacitors are priced between $9 and $50. The biggest portion of your total comes from the HV** contractor's labor cost, which is typically $170 to $400. The average ** capacitor costs around $180. " so why do *** charge $500 for a capacitor replacement? Also, it was also weird he volunteered to check our furnace. About immediately, he told me that our furnace was leaking carbon monoxide and it was dangerous to use it. He asked me to schedule an appointment with *** for a furnace replacement. Because carbon monoxide is really dangerous so it worries me lot to learn that there is a leaking. I later emailed *** and asked them why they thought our furnace is leaking Carbon Monoxide (CM) and of course they never got back to me. I didn't totally trust this technician. Why he volunteered to check furnace during an ********* up? and why he thought our furnace is leaking CM (we have CM detector but it never went off). That's why I waited more than 3 months after I hired another technician from another Heating and Cooling company. He checked carefully and told me that there is nothing wrong with our furnace and there is no CM leaking at all. *** was totally lying! That's why I have waited for over three months to write this review about ***. *** cheated about our **, they also cheated about our furnace. IF they don't have any honesty, what do they have? I will never ever use this company again. I want to warn anybody else who is thinking about hiring ***-Don't use this company, it is a joke!!!

      You mentioned that you found it strange that ************** would look at your furnace during an ** check. There is a very common misconception that the ** only lives outside, when in fact half of your cooling system resides on top of your furnace, and is called the Evaporator Coil. This must be checked on every ** system maintenance. If a company fails to do so, they are essentially shorting you on half the service. It is standard practice for our technicians to give the furnace components a once over while we are in the area, as an added value to our service. We know that not every company does that, so while it may have seemed strange to you, it is our standard to go above and beyond whenever we can.
      While we understand that you have sought out a second opinion, please understand that the most important thing is for you to feel comfortable with the diagnostic. Many other companies fail to put their technicians though the level of training that *** does, and we highly recommend you reach back out for us to send a manager to your home for your peace of mind.

      On Sunday 10/15/23, my toilet was NOT working, the water would keep running. I called *** and ***** came out to my home. He told me that he could NOT shut the water valve behind my toilet. He mentioned that it's because of the hard water that I have. He told me it would take 48 hours to have the water shut off in my condo building. He then charged me $295.20 when he was leaving. Never made a follow up appointment or anything. I had mentioned to people that live in the building that I was having problems with my toilet. Another plumber that is familiar with the complex reached out to me on Monday, I made an appointment to meet him and he was at my condo and within 15 minutes he had everything fixed. He never had to shut the water off in the whole wing of my unit. He WAS able to reach behind my toilet to turn the water off without a problem. He put all new inside of my toilet and it is working just fine. I would like my money back from *** considering they lied to me about the valve in the back of my toilet being broken. Charged me $295.20 and NEVER did one thing for the money. Never said anything regarding resolving the issue.

      Horrible company, they promise priority service if you sign up for the ************************ but then they put you on a fluid schedule, keep you waiting all day long and never show up. Then they keep rescheduling the appointment. Had to cancel the contract, they refused to give back the monthly fee that I paid for nothing.
