      At onset -happy with team of business person and architect, understood scope, timeline, and cost of project from day 1 -once it started, pleased with how quickly project took -able to work on the project while we were away we -after project completion, was quick with any follow up issues -level of communication was great, big fan of builder-trend app for talking with contractors -have since recommended Matrix to friends and family having work done on their home

      Matrix responded immediately to our initial contact request via their website and we had an initial meeting within the week to review the scope of the project. The contract, plans, payment schedule, and trade scheduling was straightforward and timely. We have no reservation recommending Matrix - ******* to our friends and family after finishing the project.

      Terrible. Every step of the way.MHS's foray into the Wisconsin market has fallen on its face. They don't have the contractors established, scheduling takes painfully long, and when the contractor shows up (consider yourself lucky if they speak English) they do shoddy work. The ******* isn't on site when the work is being performed - he shows up afterwards to see how they messed things up.The materials are mismatched in places, installation technique childish, poorly done overall. Examples:- return vent hole mismatched to vent covers, gaps everywhere - shims left untrimmed for door installation (!)- nails for door trim uneven, deep, gouged, looks bad - stair/floor vinyl installed with very noticeable gaps - dried paint drips on walls - floor trim gaps - ceiling gaps, rough edges everywhere - ceiling vent very weak - inadequate ventilation I submitted two complaints to the company - one to the rep, the other to the regional manager, with pictures. No response.I would give 0 stars if it were an option. Use locally sourced contractors, not these Illinois-based jokers pretending to know what they're doing.

      Everyone was very nice. ****** was really great. Took every phone call. Any time we had an issue, he listened, arrived & double checked their work. He did everything he could do to get what we needed done. If youre looking to have your basement done, I would recommend Matrix!

      The organization of everyone keeping a timeline. Very accommodating. everyone was ahead of schedule which was really nice. Very respectful to the house.One stop shop. App was really cool. *** is great. Always available. Everyone was very professional. Craftsmanship was really great. Our basement looks awesome. Overall for the scope, Matrix built our basement quickly. Captured our vision beautifully. Were finally able to use our basement at our house that we had built in 2020.
