The BioLife Plasma Center at **************** is located at ************************************ I am a deaf individual (ID#). I am deeply concerned about the actions of a nurse named *****, who has white hair, is relatively short and tall, and was working at booth #2 at Biolife Plasma Center. During my visit, I felt discriminated against due to my deafness. ***** demonstrated unprofessional behavior by improperly handling communication regarding my MSS deferral and donor questionnaire.His actions suggested a lack of respect for individuals with disabilities, which is unacceptable in a professional healthcare setting. Workplace discrimination goes against ethical standards and policies, and such behavior should be addressed to ensure inclusivity and respect for all patients. I urge that appropriate action be taken, including follow-up with his supervisor, to prevent further incidents. If left unaddressed, this situation could lead to further consequences as discrimination against individuals with disabilities violates workplace standards.Thank you for reviewing my concerns.Initial Complaint

phlebotomy technicians puncher you with needles knowing it's not in your vain then pushed the needle around in your arms scaring the arm and vain. Blood can not return to the vain it pools under your skin then their employees try not to pay you when it's clearly their errornous mistakes. When addressed they basically bar you from donating plasma for two months or permanently refusing to accept accountability for their errornous practices. They also cheat you out of your money when the sign clearly says new donors get $100.00 they try to cheat you out of $50.00Initial Complaint

Promised $100 as a first time donor, only paid $50. Transferred around, hung up on, told to drive 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back to the center...after already driving there and back two days in a row for one donation. I am beyond disgusted with this place ! I started going here because it was closer than CSL and I made a huge mistake!!! First of never was I fully compensated for my first time donation then all of a sudden the 1 time the manager at this facility decides to poke me the machine goes insane and now Im deferred on account of my protein being low! No one picks up their phones here so I had to drive up here to ask what the issue was since I was able to schedule my appointments and on reschedule seem a weird notice I cant donate! I come up here the manger gives me some **** excuse and sends me to the nurse who tells me oh your protein is low! 6 days ago New Visited BioLife on today. The manager ******* inquired about my glasses asking if they were prescription. I told her they are prescription and that I cannot tolerate bright lights. ******* stated that my eyes have to be seen and that my glasses had to be removed. I told her I was NEVER told that I had to remove my glasses. She stated according to an organization I had to remove my glasses. So basically I had to sit in bright lighting due to her demands. Ive been to BioLife since December. The experience was terrible as she did not have any type of decorum; very dismissive without an ounce of empathy. 5/12/15. I went to my local BioLife Plasma Center to donate as I usually do. Halfway through the donation, the machine stopped and they were unable to re infuse my red blood cells. Because of this machine malfunction, I am now unable to donate for 8 weeks. I use this money and a supplemental income to help pay my bills and now because of their machine malfunction and not working correctly, I have to be punished for it. I was told that it was a safety issue for me to donate again, however, if I am willing to waive liability from the center, I am unsure as to why I am unable to. This is the 3rd poor interaction at this specific facility and location and I will NOT be back. I want to be able to donate and help and receive compensation for my lost time. 8 weeks worth of not being able to donate and make the extra money that I need to live.Customer Answer

I was donating plasma and the tech moving needle around my arm the procedure went for about 10 mins another tech came over to check the sounding alarm she moved the needle around a few times then she turned machine back on and then a couple mins said my arm started swelling and clogged up my red cell didn't go back in my veins and my arm is extremely swollen and I've sick from there mess up and I got deferred for there messupInitial Complaint

The ************ ******* location is very disrespectful and the lady at the desk decided to throw the gauze on my arm instead of handing it to me. This could be pressed into a act of violence and I could press charges but I'm not. Nobody needs to be throwing anything at anybody. This incident happened today 5-6-2025 at around 10:40 and is on camera. I would like to get an email or phone number for the corporate office if I could.
