      I went to donate plasma at Biolife at **************************************************** ***** location 03/2823 at 2:30 P.M. as I was scheduled for appointment then long story short I went through the screening process along with the questionnaire on computer and waited for the physical process with the nurse for 2 hours + As I was waiting I watched others ( after talking with the nurse) leave the building with attitudes So when I finally got to do the physical process with nurse she let me know that all the rest of the other like 15 new donors along with myself would not be able to donate that day and would not recieve any compensation for our time for that day because they in their words Did not have enough hubs for us. So the nurse advised that I continue with the process and also let them get a sample of my blood that day and leave with no compensation even for our inconvenience. I immediately left and let them know that I paid for an Uber to get up there and also was going to have to find my own way back home as well and that put me in a way worse bind than I was already in. Now mind you I have been donating plasma for over 10 years now and never have I ever had to face anything this ridiculous in a facility like that Even free hearing the bad information I spoke with the manager on duty about the issue and informed them that they need to let the remaining 15 or more new donors know the deal right now rather than them wait hours just to be disappointed like the rest of us So basically I came out of my way for nothing I was supposed to be compensated $125 for that donation, and ended up being there for more than 3 hours to be told I would not recieve anything that day and they would also want to get a sample of my blood. At that I was very mad with the situation as well as a lot others and I just walked all the way home Never again!

      On 3/23/23 I visited biolife in ******. This was my 7 of 8 new donor promotional donation. During this time one of the phlebotomist caused a hematoma on my arm, no big deal as they told me that in the case it wasnt healed by the time of my next donor i would be compensated the remaining balance of my new donor promotion. Today, 3/29, i went it and was told that wasnt true and they wouldnt honor that promise that was made due to a problem caused by their own staff. The best resolution they offered was to extend the promotion longer. I would then have to rearrange my own schedule to come back in again solely because of a mistake on their part.

      I was a donor and I was treated with no respect and was banned for no reason and want to know what can be done about it. I feel that they employees should face repercussions.

      So at 1:20 I had an *********** at BioLife plasma services on ******************** in ***** ******** on the 24th of March 2023. As I enter the building I go to the restroom to go potty and one of the nurses happen to be in the rest of the time and as she's washing her hands I come out to wash my hands and she says have you smoking weed and I said no ma'am she says well if you're smoking weed you can't donate I said I know that maam she asks why do you smell like weed I said ma'am I work at a dispensary and was at the grow house and they were incinerating the waste products I was checking plants and trimming plants as well about 2 hours before my *********** at BioLife. I left the grow house at 11:00 a.m. and arrived at my doctor's *********** for my yearly check up which they did a complete blood count all my numbers were of adequate level specifically the protein level or hermatica level which was an 8.2 at my physician's ****** and upon arriving to biolife plasma and the lady checking my plasma was doing some kind of quality check and asked if I mind having two vilas of my finger stick taken instead of the normal one I asked what for and she said it was cuz they were doing some training and testing I said yeah I don't mind so I noticed she put the first test tube in the machine and ran it and when I asked what she did with the second one she said they wrote it down and test it later when the machine was done testing the fingers stick she told me that my hermatica level was too low it was at a 6.9 I said that's not correct I just left the doctor's ****** not even an hour ago and my iron level is 8.2. I know for a fact there was no way in God's creation did my hermetic level change that drastically in 2 hours I feel I was discriminated against because I worked in a Grow house the nurse was seen leaving the restroom and talking to the employee in question who is taking my samples and was doing the quality testing and deferred me which cost me $105

      3/24/2023 made my second donation on their promotion of $40 then $90 on the second donation.Spoke to the Biolife Plasma site manager Kaley on 3/16/2023 complaining about all the lack of communication issues with their staff at that site who assured me I would get $90 on my next donation but failed to mention it had to be within a 7-day period.I did not get all of my initial promotional money either because of a delay in testing my sample which they had to take 3 different times and claimed it was because of a third-party testing company. Their customer service is horrendous and they take the position like it's everyone else's issues and zero accountability or responsibility for anything they fail to communicate or do.Any time they did provide correct information I followed it as provided why I was only going once per week but being new to their promotions and center you would expect it to be posted in your portal account or even app but it's not unless I probably do a ****** search. That's ridiculous that any customer needs to dig so hard to get the correct information or ask them who don't know off the top of their heads until they looked at the dates and realized oh this is why.I wish I had looked them up first to see the number of complaints but everyone is in need of some extra money with the economy the way it is. This is not right that they assume they don't need honor their word and inform their customers correctly.

      I went into bio life plasma services in 2018 and was turned away, due to needing medical releases from my Dr I got the forms requested filled out and returned to them it took until September of 2022 to get a response back from bio life plasma services I then called in feb 2023 to verify I was cleared to go in and donate, they responded with yes they had all the documents required and I just needed to schedule a physical, so I scheduled a physical for March 15th 2023 @ 12 pm the whole process was supposed to take 2 hrs to do the physical and donate however upon arrival I was skipped over multiple times by others that were there for the same thing but they were scheduled after myself, finally after 3hrs I was taken back for the physical, and yet once again stopped from donating, requesting forms be completed by my Dr again, saying these forms need to be done yearly, I told the employee/ nurse who was doing the physical at this point that they had already requested it, and I had called prior to verify I was in the clear and that I had been told I was good to go and you had all the documentation that was necessary and needed and it took a year and a half for you to get it so I am done at this point and we will not be back as you say you need these yearly, and it takes over a year for you to respond back to me once the forms, and filled out this is not the way to do business I was there simply to try and help people that need plasma I feel discriminated against, and I feel this company has a long way to go on procedures and fixing how they get documentation and how quickly the turnaround process is once required also need to work on being upfront and giving people all the paperwork required to be filled out at the same time so you dont run into the same problem two or three times like I have this is very unprofessional, and I highly recommend against using this company due to how I have been treated and how they have responded to me, they discriminate and unprofessional

      On February 15th 2023 I came into Biolife as a new donor. That appointment took 4 hours due to computer issues. I have not been able to donate since then because part of the lab work was lost or so I am told. I have not been able to get an appointment to give another sample. I keep receiving reminders that my promotion is running out when I am not allowed to donate.I am frustrated and feel like my time has been wasted.

      I was not informed the entire food list that was consumed that day needed to be provided at time of check in. When I only stated what I had just ate prior to appointment, they made me wait hours to tell me that they didnt believe me, I was so humiliated I cried and had to ask to leave the office. How can you treat people like they are liars. On top of making me wait hours for nothing? Is that in training to humiliate and embarrass someone and state you dont believe what they say or have ate???

      A little background, I'm an active/regular donor with multiple donations at this exact center and spoke highly of this establishment. Never have i once showed up and did not give a successful donation, 20+ times. On 02/25/2023 I was scheduled to donate plasma at Biolife's *********************** at 5PM. I showed up at 5:01 and proceeded to walk from my car across the parking lot to the front doors. They locked the doors on me and proceeded to ignore me for a few minutes before acknowledging me at the door. At this point someone opened the door and I said, hello I have a 5 o'clock appointment to donate. The woman proceeded to say "your appointment is at 5 and we are closed. I said, "I showed up at 5:02" She replied, "two minutes too late" in a rude tone and locked the door on me again" If the business closes at 5PM then why was I scheduled for 5PM? Also, at this point in time they have my account set to "ineligible to donate" status to prevent me from coming back in. The only person who truly loses out in this situation, is the person who actually NEEDS the plasma. Biolife has lost me as a customer until they have corrected this situation. This is no way to treat anyone, and I'm extremely disappointed that its being handled the way it is.

      I donate plasma at the BioLife plasma center on ****** and akipqidth road in Henrico **. I had lost my card and when I went there on Sunday I asked for a replacement. They gave me one, but when I went to activate it at home I was given errors. Upon calling the bank they said the plasma center gave me a cancelled card and my lost card was still active. The bank rep cancelled the old card and mailed me a replacement which takes 7 to 10 business days. I then went in the BioLife app today to check something and I noticed that 2, **** charges were taken off my account. It's bad enough that I have to wait so long to get the card to use the funds which I'm in need of as a parent of 2 on medical leave.But these charges should be refunded. Which is $9.9.Thank you!
