      01/13/2023 I had an appointment at the BioLife plasma services center in *********, ********* at 2:20 p.m. I arrived for my appointment and passed all of the screenings and went into a questionnaire. Some of the questions are regarding drug use and IV drug use and I answered the question about possible drug use incorrectly. I said No when they asked have I ever been a drug user and that is incorrect, I have used drugs in the past. I am in recovery. I told the nurse when I went in and met with him (*******, LPN) and I explained they ask about past use and IV use and I told him I answered the use question wrong, but never used IV. He then asked me a few moments later if I was positive I had never used IV drugs and (I am a very transparent and honest person) I told him back in 2012 my boyfriend said I had used once IV and I sure didn't remember that. He then said he wasn't sure what to do so he went and talked to another nurse and had decided I had to be deferred or blocked from donation because there was prior IV use. I then asked for a manager. When he questioned why I was upset I said because he was calling me something I'm not and I explained to him again what he must not have heard and how I never used IV and he said "doubt that, my gut tells me different" and stated I would be put in the system as an IV user. The manager (Vet) came in the office and stated I would be listed as "possible IV use due to boyfriend's statement". I have been discriminated against and feel labeled and classified and turned away because of the disease of addiction.

      I have been to Biolife for at least a month. I quickly told them I was allergic to iodine and some tapes. I had an appointment at 10:05 am. I went In early. I sat there waiting. I tried signing in. It wouldn't let me. I went to speak to a nurse. Keep in mind, I have been going to Biolife at least 2 a week for over a month. Today I was told I couldn't donate, because of the tape allergy. I told them it was not a severe allergy because of 2 csections I had. They still sat back and said no.. I was never informed that day (Tuesday) I couldn't donate on Friday. My time is valuable as well. I needed the money yes all the donors do. So since I was never told that day or called the morning of I want my donation money of $120.00 I went In good standing believing all was going to donate.

      I was prompted to donate plasma to this BioLife place after I applied for a job somewhere they had a donor contact me and use her as a reference. I went to donate at this place despite it being 30 miles from my house. The first donation on 12/20 was fine and the staff was fair. They insisted I come back in two days and had me set an appointment for today 12/22 at 1:05. It is a freaking blizzard outside and I was literally 8 1/2 minutes late ON PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. The lady at the desk argued me down I was 11 minutes late and I showed her the clock on my phone which confirmed I wasnt and she got a manager who echoed the same BS. These people SOLICITED ME FOR A FREAKING Donation to play freaking games with me DURING A FREAKING BLIZZARD. These people told me to come back in 3 HOURS despite the place being near empty. Some jerk from corporate is gonna call me and say its my fault but THEY HABE CAMERAS. AND CAN SEE WHEN I ARRIVED!!!!

      On December 22, 2022, I received a phone from Biolife Plasma donate facility located *********, ** the day of my appointment for 10:40 am to donate as a new donor collect $100 today being my third time donating. During my phone call with an employee which I didn't get her name told me my appointment today was cancelled because lab work came back that my protein level was low according blood draw on the 15th of December 2022, which I was still able to donate on this day. On my first visit the Biolife to donate I couldn't help to feel uncomfortable feelings due to the color of skin as a 60 years old black woman not welcoming, every details and questions asked of me that I felt like protocols wasn't following ethical. I noticed no others people of colors wasn't present coming or going into the Biolife facility. My second visit I had to see the nurse again due to 4th ear pierced I had since a teenager. Now this incident today, setback donating helps me get through the hardship foods and gas to get back and forth to work. I know in my gut this is racist and discrimination the was treated day one I step foot into Biolife. I'm considering to make phone calls to the media, naacp and black lives matter. Mostly I'm also saving lives donate my plasma.

      This is the 3rd or 4th time, I book an appointment through your mobile app, and the appointment gets deleted without notifying me. Most recent incident, I booked an appointment for today Wednesday Dec 21 at 18:20, and for Friday Dec 23 at 17:45, today I was checking my appointments and I found that the appointment for Wednesday is not available on the mobile app, I tried to call 5 times but off course there was no answer. So either your system is messed up, or one of your employees is playing around to puting someone else instead of me to benefit from the promotion. This is totally not acceptable, and if you promote honesty and morality, then what happened before and happened today is totally against what you promote. The least you can do is to compensate me for the promotion price that I lost.

      Biolife is a company full of thieves that don't give a c*** about anyone or anything other than money. The amount of revenue they bring in DAILY from ** DONORS that they pretend to care so much about could literally pay our yearly salaries. So for them to offer a $200 refer a friend bonus then not honor that promotion and completely back down from their end of the deal is so extremely disgusting and ***** unlike anything I've ever seen. I did EVERY STEP I had to do to recieve my bonus and my waited for my friend to donate FOUR times rather than the required two before they are supposed.to pay out. After finally trying to speak with someone she get the money owed to me they instead threatened me with having me arrested and calling the police for a bunch of lies they made up about me!! IVE BEEN GOING TO THE *******, ** LOCATION FOR NEARLY 3 MONTHS AND HAVE HAD LONG CONVERSATIONS WITH THE EMPLOYEES!! I KNOW THEM BY NAME FOR ****** SAKE AND THAT'S HOW THEY TREAT A FRIENDLY LOYAL DONOR?!?!? I AM ENTITLED TO THAT 200 DOLLARS! I HAVE CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE MULTIPLE TIMES AND ****** THERE GIVES CRAP!! THEY MUST MAKE THIS RIGHT!!

      I went to donate to the center multiple times and have several issues. I wasted my time and money. I was hurt during the process as well.

      I went to Biolife Plasma in ******. Trouble with their system from corporate however inwas already hooked up. Completed donation, then received multiple emails about not being able to finish my donation. I emailed and called. Got am email response but no call. Not fixed. Mislabeled plasma out there somewhere and no compensation yet for my donation.

      The rest of the staff and management are unorganized. However the Phlebotimist are fine. The staff including the manger named ****** told me to download their unusable application that prompts you to get a physical when you already had one. It took them 2 weeks or more to even fix the application to properly display donations last time which was only done because the at the time manager ****** just happend to be at the front counter. This place will lie to you about your new donor status. Short change you then just point at 30day policy and then refuse to compensate you for their mistake by using loop holes and claiming that good old cliche "Not my kids" my employees would never do that... and been told to call corporate. As a resolution... ************ you got here... felt I need to put this here first before doing as I am told and go to corporate.

      I have been having problems trying to set up appointments with BioLife Plasma Services. It seems as though anytime I am trying to get an appointment, their servers either get jammed and do not work or on their website/app, it would state that there are no appointments for that day and in reality, there are appointments. So it makes it even more convienient to try to work with them. I would usually have to try to call them atleast 12 -15 times for someone to pick up the phone.And if no one doesn't, I can not schedule an appointment for that day and then I would lose my time. So, it's very frustrating in dealing with them since it messes around peoples' schedules and such.
