This happened on 4/30/25. At BioLife Plasma Services, you can donate plasma for money. First time donation is supposed to be $80. After you donate, they give you a BioLife debit card which the money is on. They gave me my card, so later that day I tried to use it. To my surprise, there was $0 on it. I drove back to BioLife Plasma Services and they told me it could take up to 24 hours for the money to show up on the card. Its been over 24 hours, and I have not received any of my money. I have tried to call the store more than 8 times, and they have not answered. This is theft and a breach of contract. When I was researching the problem online, I seen other people have this problem, and when they let the store know, they give them a new card due to the original one being faulty or whatever the problem may be. They will not provide me any solution or give me my money that they owe me. Im completely baffled how a business can do this. I have donated plasma in the past, and have had no problem with the money not being on the card. I feel very disrespected that they took my bodily fluids with their entire business basis being the promise to pay for donations that people give. This is just not ok.Initial Complaint

I donated plasma and was told I would get $80 on a debit card. They put a hold on the funds so they cannot be accessed even though they received my plasma donation. There was no manager to talk to. They are not paying people and theres no recourse.Initial Complaint

Unprofessional. Turned me away for having a mental health issue. When asked why and if it had something to do with my medication I was told "no you have a mental health problem and you need to be of sound mind". I was told I needed my prescriber to "consent" for me and that was it. My doctor sent in my letter and I received a phone call today 4/15/25 saying there is an issue with my letter and my doctor doesn't have the "credentials" to consent for me. The individual that called me was rude, argumentative and Unprofessional. She made me come out of my own character and I yelled back. I feel discriminated against for having a mental health issues seeing as a heroin addict can donate 48 to 72 hours after using. Makes no sense. I have no future plans to use this facility and I'd like my info including my fingerprint to be 100% removed from their database.Initial Complaint

I worked a biolife starting Mar. 13 , 2024 to Apr. 10, 2025 and my supervisor (male) opened the bathroom door to check on me, played with my hair without my consent, threatened to follow me home and blow up my truck, threatened to steal my truck and rob a bank, telling me to spit clean items, etc. Im very uncomfortable and I took my self out of the situation but Im writing this because I dont want another woman to experience what I went through working here.Initial Complaint

The staff their lie about peoples heart rate to clear out the amount of people in center. Then when u ask to speak to a manager they defer u , then online allows unto make an appointment knowing u have been deferred to drive 60 miles out your way !!! Im beyond ****** !! Unfortunately my local donation center isn't accepting new donors at the moment, so I have made the 50 mile drive to the nearest BioLife location. Twice now I have driven here, using gas I can't afford to waste, just to be disqualified for my blood pressure, despite being able to get adequate readings at home. First visit I was running all over the building before any testing was even ********** I arrived and checked in for appointment at 1240pm, then sat in the waiting room. During that time I say and made a point to do exercises for decreasing blood pressure. After 40 minutes, I am called for only to be told I have to wait because they forgot somebody else that was waiting to be retested. 10 more minutes trying to decrease blood pressure again, I am called out only to be completely stressed out from being asked for documentation I didn't have due to already having my account set up previously. Follow this with the blood test sample, the finger ***** being known for causing increase heart rate and blood pressure due to psychological responses, then finally the blood pressure is tested after undoing all the preparation beforehand but during the blood pressure check they also simultaneously hand me the thermometer that I now have to focus on while also trying to keep my anxiety and stress in check. My first visit diastolic 101, this time 102. Follow with trying to calm down for 10 minutes to retest only making my numbers worse because I am already stressed about being rejected. Not to mention having vital testing done out in the open for everyone to watch. A lot of people coming in here aren't just coming in for the good of the cause, we have bills to pay and families to feed, already stressed about the money and not being able to get through the week. While in the waiting area I heard two other people also being turned away for a number barely over 100. At this point I feel I'm being cheated.Initial Complaint

My debit card balance on the plasma card has been incorrect. I have attempted to remedy it by contacting their customer service twice. There is nothing on their customer service line that allows you to speak to somebody nor any options with their customer service line to file for a review. I also sent them two messages through the dashboard regarding the fact that my balance is incorrect and never received a response. On 3/14/2025 I was at Biolife Plasma at ***************************************** for a 1:45pm appointment. There was a woman engaged in a tense phone conversation (cell phone conversations are not permitted in the facility) in which she was screaming into her phone. I had politely asked her if she could speak more quietly to allow myself and other patients to focus on our intake forms. She became verbally violent, threatening bodily harm to myself and another patient. Manager ***** did not de-escalate the situation and did not facilitate a safe environment for the donors in the facility by telling this belligerent agitators victims to shut up. The perpetrator waited outside the facility for myself and another donor to leave the building. At our request to be escorted to our vehicles due to fear of our safety, manager ***** refused to ****** us outside to avoid a dangerous situation. ***** proceeded to kick the victims out of the building instead of holding the violent and threatening woman accountable and forcing her to leave.
