As others have commented, this association never sent a bill to my address. All I got were text messages, with an abbreviated form of the business name that I was completely unfamiliar with, saying I owed money and a link to click on. As a general rule, I do not click on links in text messages from unknown numbers or businesses. When I got more of these messages, I found the business's website, and the phone number listed is the general number for the hospital where my surgery was done. I spent forever going through that menu to speak to an operator in the billing ***** only to be given another number. That led me to automated menu where I could not get details on my invoice. I finally got an option to have a printed invoice sent to my house, which I selected, but it won't arrive for "several weeks," Meanwhile, I've already received my "final notice" (another text message) for the bill, and I don't want it to go to collections, so I had to take a risk and pay it via the link in the text message. It is absolutely shocking how unprofessional this business is.

This is not a comment on the medical competence of the practitioners, rather that their business practices are sketchy at best. After receiving services during a surgical procedure at ********************** my insurance was billed and promptly paid the majority of the bill, but no bill for the remaining balance was ever sent to me. Instead about 9 weeks later I get a bill from a collections service for that balance, which I promptly paid. They certainly had my address available, I suspect when they get a high percentage of the total from insurance they don't bother to spend money on billing but just turn it over to their collections partner, patient be damned. Try to contact them directly to ask about this and you'll find that their website falsely gives the address and phone for ************* hospital rather than for their actual business.

I can't get hold of this company to pay my Bill? Is this a real company.
