I chose Allsup as my representative in applying for SSI/SSDI. I have multiple autoimmune disorders and waited a very long time for my federal hearing. The attorney that was assigned to my case was not prepared. He had no current medical records which I consistently reported to Allsup. The judge asked during the hearing where was the current info? All medical info submitted by Allsup was over 10 months old! I have tried contacting Allsup to report as well to follow up to insure my current records were sent to the judge and as well, file a grievance. I’ve tried the online chat, with now help or directing me to the appropriate case manager. I’ve called their 800 number and can not get through to anyone! Two hours on hold today.

Allsup Disability Services are a scam to get money for work you will be doing yourself. I filed for my disability in 2022. I was denied on a technicality. So my mother suggested iI call allsup. Allsup accepted my claim. But from that moment on i was basically doing the work on my own. I had to locate which social security office was handling my case. I retrieved my medical records and sent in all requested documents. All while trying to contact my allsup Representative who never called back. At this point I sent in a letter of dismissal but never received a reply. I have been in constant contact with my social security representative to resolve my own case. Allsup has taken money from my social security disability without doing the work they promised.

My lawyer asked for documents from my Dr, on a Tuesday we had until the following Monday to submit the paperwork. I was fortunate enough to get a Friday at 4:45 appointment specifically for this important paperwork. The lawyer, ****** ****** gave me the wrong fax number. The documents were never received due to Andrew’s inability to provide me with the correct fax number subsequently I was DENIED my disability and Allsup dropped me like a hot potato. I told both Allsup and Andrew what happened. They had nothing to say.

This company Allsup, started contacting me approximately 2 months ago, they will call several times a day and do not leave messages.

Today I answered the phone and was able to connect with somebody they said they were calling me to see if I wanted to return to work. I asked how they got my information they said from the social security administration.

6 years ago I was in a debilitating accident and became disabled I was in the construction industry I was placed on social security disability because I can no longer work.

Allsup claimed the social security administration had hired them to contact me to help me return to work, I called the social security administration to verify this and was told it was not true.

This company is just fishing for clients by telling them that the social security administration hired them, this is not true they are lying to people.

The social security administration should sue these people for misleading the public, those of us who unfortunately are on SSDI because we have become disabled are already in the most vulnerable positions this company Allsup is taking advantage of that vulnerability by trying to scare us making us think social security is going to take away our benefits.

The government needs to step in and hold this company accountable.

I contacted Allsup to cancel their representation of me on November 23, 2022. They responded to me via email on November 28, 2022 stating "We have received your request to withdrawal your claim with Allsup. A technical expert will begin processing your request and send you an update via email/mail. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns." I reached out to them again on December 7, 2022 asking for the documentation that the claim had been withdrawn. I received this response on December 8, 2022 "Thank you for the request. We are currently waiting to hear back from ******** before we close your claim. Once we receive permission from them, we will withdraw from your claim." I emailed Allsup to make them aware that the company, ******** that they mentioned has no legal authority to give permission as to which company/attorney that I use for representation in my SSDI claim and that they also had no legal authority as to whether I cancel representation or not. This is blatantly illegal to use these stall tactics and to send me misinformation that they are not going to cancel my services with them until they get permission from ********. I have called and sent numerous emails to the one named representation, Ms. ******* with Allsup for weeks and have received no response either. I instructed them not to conduct any business on my behalf other than to severe services and I have sent documentation to SSDI that they are not to communicate with Allsup as they are not my representative.

In June of 2021 I went on disability due to some mental health problems my job had independent disability with ******** during the process of having my claim approved I was informed by ******** that they used a comp called Allsup who would work with me every step of the way to file for SSDI and Medicare I am aware that this was voluntary but they made it sound like it could speed the process up, well that has been 16 months ago and my SSDI claim has still not passed the initial first step. The agent assigned to my case is ****** ******** ************* I spoke with her on Oct. 12th after many attempts trying to contact someone, at the time I didn't know who had my claim. I told of my concerns about the length of time it was taking and that I was no longer receiving benefits from ********. I turned 65 on Oct 5th and wanted to start drawing my SS and Medicare by that time however I can't do that according to the SS dept. because of this open claim. When I informed ****** that I had talked with SS she informed me not to believe anything they said and would just tell me what I wanted to hear. I finally asked to speak to her supervisor and she would not connect me but said she would have her * ***** call me but that has yet to happen. When I asked about the lack of communication she started rattling off dates of emails and there were 8 (2 were welcoming me 1} how to set up an app 1} how to contact them and the rest were questionaries' which I filled out as soon as I received them. After about 45min I did get out of her that my case had been given to an adjuster ** ******* first she said on Oct of 2021 then she said August of 2022. I can't get anywhere with this company and can't draw my SS or Medicare because of this. My last check from ******** was in Sept. 22 so right now I have $0 income , paying 675.00 for medical ins. I check my account with Allsup online for more documents it says no & my claim with SSDI has sat at 90% for over a year now can you please help
