The account is for services established on September 28,

decision to request the credit reporting agencies to remove the item from the

On February 13, 2023, Afni received this complaint. In response, Afni ceased communication and

verbal and electronic signatures, respectively. Furthermore, Afni received the consumer written letter of dispute on
February 9, 2023, and was investigating the consumer’s dispute without a chance
to respond before this complaint was received. Afni sent a request to the credit reporting agencies to remove the
account from the consumer’s credit report. Please be aware that it can take the credit reporting agencies anywhere
from 0 to 90 days to update consumer credit reports. Afni has no control over how quickly the
credit reporting agencies update consumer credit reports. However, this does not mean that the account
is not due and owing, simply that Afni will no longer furnish the account to

I am rejecting this response because:
I really think AFNI should hire someone else to handle their BBB complaints because the response I just read is NOT for my account, it doesn’t correspond to my complaint or the amount that was placed on my credit. However, I will reach out to ******* to find out who that account number that AFNI listed in the response really belongs to so they can see that AFNI has breached a contract with them and disclosed information incorrectly. Compliance should be #1 when dealing with debt collections. It has recently been brought to my attention that AFNI was reporting an account to all three Credit Bureaus. TransUnion and Equifax have removed this account in good faith, since they did not find sufficient evidence to validate it. However this account is still showing on my Experian Credit report. This account has made it impossible for me to rebuild my credit and rent/purchase a home. The financial burden of this account is holding me back from being able to afford continued medical treatments. I have not received a letter validating the alleged debt after requesting one and do not think that it has been sent to the correct address. Furthermore I dispute that this is a debt that I owe. My correct address is the one attached to this complaint. I would have disputed it from the beginning if I had received the proper documentation. I request that this alleged debt be removed from the final Credit Bureau (Experian) on my credit report, so that I can continue medical treatments. Account #: ***********Business Response
